Prince Resort is adjacent to Cherry Grove beach in North Myrtle Beach, 19 miles from downtown Myrtle Beach. The resort is composed of two 19-floor oceanfront towers, commanding impressive views of the Atlantic and surrounding natural marshes. An expanse of white sand leads guests to the roaring ocean.

The buildings are fashioned in a modern Art Deco style, and guests are greeted with a colorful and vibrant lobby. A rooftop sundeck has a heated lazy river, swimming pool, children's pool, and spa tub. Three other spa tubs and two additional heated pools are also on site.

“North Myrtle Beach's Best”

Great location, great atmosphere, multiple pool locations (including one with stunning view of beach) nice and affordable restaurants, IGA grocery store located within 2 miles. Great views of beach and marshes. Hotel does seem a bit old and high maintenance, 2 elevators broke down on same day leaving one lift for all of tower 2 for several hours (and the busiest part of the day), Ceiling fans in room cant go past first speed without banging and wobbling. Overall beautiful place, definitely the best on North Myrtle Beach

“Waiting to relax again!”

This hotel was beautiful, as was the view. The room was so much more than I expected, although the bathroom needed to be cleaner. I did love the stacked washer/dryer right in the room (how convenient!). And the view, not only of the marshlands, but also the beach. Spectacular!

“North Myrtle Beach Pick”

The hotel was very clean and close to our event...Good Choice. However the refrigerator rattled loudly and even though it was reported, it was not attended to until 5 minutes before we checked out. Other than that problem everything was great.

“"Nice Resort, but"”

The resort was very nice looking, the staff very friendly. The room was arranged quite well and the view was great. However, the beds and the livingroom furniture appeared in good condition but was very uncomfortable!

“Absolutely sensational, homey feel, perfect view of ocean”

I was a little hesitant about staying across the street from the ocean, however, since our room was on the 18th floor and no buildings between us and the ocean, we had the best view ever. The room was like a home, two complete bedrooms with master baths, a lovely sitting room, and a balcony that could be accessed from either the living room or master bedroom. We wanted to stay longer and checked into purchasing a unit there, on our way out. We can't wait to return!!!

Area recommendations

We really like Cherry Grove, (N or Myrtle Beach), all of the fun of Myrtle Beach, but none of the madness of the heavy traffic, commotion and other circumstances that can hamper a casual beach vacation.

When to go

We have been to Cherry Grove, Prince Resort in mid April and the weather is great, crowds are non-existent and our hotel was empty.

“Great getaway for the family!”

We visit Cherry Grove at least 3 times a year. This was our first stay at a condo/resort. It was awesome! The view was great, the staff friendly, and the weather was perfect. They had a weight room and cardio room which looked out onto the inlet - BEAUTIFUL-. Our kids really enjoyed the lazy river, hot tubs and pools, as well as the walk on the pier, which is directly in front of the resort. Parking was easy and the location of the resort made it a no brainer when it came to walking to local shoppes. The ease of the resort made our 3 day weekend seem like a full week at a beach house. It was so relaxing. We'll definitely consider The Prince Resort for our next weekend getaway.

The Duffy Street Crabshack is a MUST when visiting Cherry Grove Beach. They give you lots of roasted peanuts to munch on, which the kids love! It's also at an intersection with a light, so you get to see all the awesome motorcycles while you're sipping your brew and mixing with friends.

“very nice would go back”

Very nice place. Will go back later on. Very peaceful. Great to walk on pier and beach. Views from room were wonderful especially oceanfront. Will go back later.
