“not impressed with the room”
small corner room
“would love to go back very soon.”
VERY CLEAN AND EASY TO GET TO, ALSO NEAR SHOPPING AND RESTURANTS. VERY BEAUTIFUL VEIW OF THE OCEAN & A BEAUTIFUL VEIW OF THE WONDERFUL SUNRISE OUR MOST WONDERFUL PART OF OUR STAY.
“Older hotel that should have been cleaner”
I realize this hotel is older however you'd expect it to at least be clean. The stairwells were filthy and the room was just bare bones. The TV was very blurry, it almost hurt your eyes to watch it. The staff was friendly. I would not stay here again based on what you get for the money.
“Great Music”
We loved our stay here. They had bands and dancing. NOT a great place for kids, as there were not many and most guests were older than 45. great place to go without kids and to have a good time without having to worry about drunk rowdy people. River City Cafe has GREAT burgers!
“very please”
I had the best weekend. the room was very clean. everything were recently updated. beautiful ocean front view. The maid did an exceptional job everyday we were there. very friendly staffs. spoke to us every time we enter or leave the resort. Everything, the beach, the pools, hot tubs and bar/restaurants were right on site. We couldn't have ask for anything more.
“only minor issues..great location, would go back”
bathroom smelled a bit like a locker room when i arrived...got better as i turned on fans, but should have been better....otherwise room and location was just fine
“Nice Hotel”
THe hotel was located in a prime location. Real close to broadway at the beach and barefoot landing. Two bars in the hotel and a restaraunt with great food. Ocean front, cant beat it and you dont even need to leave the hotel.
“Over all good”
promised queen beds but they are only full size over all nice place considering the amount of traffic they have. Did find one staff member sitting on a chair on her cell phone when we went back to our room and the others were cleaning . Wasn't impressed with that but basically it was a good visit.
“Get what you pay for”
As the rest of the reviews on this resort have stated, this place needs updated. We stayed in an efficiency. It was dirty, old looking. The bathroom was in bad need of updating. The bath tub was pretty nasty, the toilet lid was broken, etc... But, you get what you pay for. The place had everything you need. There is a great bar Annie's, a good restaurant, (the woman who seated us had absolutely no personnality but the guy who makes the eggs was wonderful) By the way, when you go to the restaurant for breakfast, you have to ask to a good table. If you don't ask, she will put you right in the main aisle next to the food bar. If I had wanted polished brass in my room, I could have paid for it somewhere else. All in all I was satisfied.
“dirty, and horrible maid service”
we had to constantly call for clean towels and toilet paper, we had to call for sheets for the fold out bed and for extra pillows, one morning the maid try to service our room but we were all still sleeping so we assumed they would check back later but they didn't, we had to call the next day just get our room cleaned and supplies replenished like toilet paper, when a maid did come to clean our room she barely vacuumed and didn't even bother to vacuum the bedrooms. the hotel smells of stale cigarettes, but it is on the beach and you are not in the middle of all the crowds. for the price i don't think it is worth it, if you are looking for a place to party and not care about cleanliness this is the place to go
