Stay and Play Golf

Pros: The fact that is was well kept and was very clean.
Location: The location was fine for us as we made our golf reservations around the hotel.
I thought the Plantation Villas were really lovely, clean and comfortable and I am quite fussy. It was perfect for two couples and would definitely stay there again. They were as shown in the photos as well, which I have found to be not always the case. Easy check in and out - no hassles. I rate it close to a four or five star based on other hotels that I researched in this area. Did not use any of the amenities. Great deal through expedia.

Nice resort in a nice location

Pros: It was a nice resort close enough to the beach without all the traffic. I like that there was plenty of things to do around the resort.
Cons: Should tell people their keys won't work after 11:00 and that they will be charged a $25.00 fee if not out by 11:00.

The resort was very well kept. The condo was nice and clean with plenty of room. If you don't need to have a late check out this this is the place for you. We were in Myrtle beach to run the Diva half marathon. I didn't think we would able to do the half and get back to the condo in time to check out by 11:00 so I called a couple of days before that to request a late checkout. They told me that I would be okay if I check out before 11:00 but if I was there after 11:00 they would charge me a $25.00 fee. I said ok. The manager that I spoke with on Thursday said she would make note of this. Sunday after the race we got back to the condo a few minutes after 11:00 to find that our keys didn't work. We called the front desk and she sent security to open the door. By this time it was 11:20. We got in the room took showers and got ready to leave. While I was in the shower, housekeeping knocked on the door twice to see if we were ready to leave. When I got out of the shower and we were getting ready to walk out the door at 11:50 the phone range. The front desk was telling us we had to be out of the room by 12:00 and that they were going to charge use an extra $25.00 for not leaving by 11:00. I told her I was well aware of that and that we were on our way out of the door right before she called. I went to the desk and paid the $25.00 plus tax and left. Some more of my running buddies stayed here and stayed late but was not charged the extra $25.00.

I loved the room until a huge cockroach invaded my privacy and I almost had a heart attack. Also the staff kept getting g confused about my check out time. That was annoying.

A lot to do on the property

Pros: There was a lot to do on-site. Activities were planned for every day, and there were lots of options for recreation.
Cons: The odor in the unit and the stains in the sofa!
Location: Convenient to restaurants and entertainment
I enjoyed my stay for the most part. I was bothered by an awful smell that greeted us when we entered our unit, however. I was also not happy with the stains that were in the sofa. Overall, though, the unit was clean and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

Great Resort! You won't be disappointed.

This was a girlfriend getaway to bring in 2015! We enjoyed most of everything about the resort and Myrtle Beach. I would only say that the rooms were cleaned but could be improved i.e. dust/webs in room corners, wiping down the room/fridge doors, leaving a little more linen and washing detergent.

Didn't want to leave

I loved it and so did my children. For a family vacation resort they seemed to have overlooked young children when considering the amenities in the hotel suite, such as the sink was too high for my youngest child and a little step stool would have been convenient and there were no cable tv channels for young children such as Nick Jr. Other than these two minor things, my family absolutely loved it. I would most definitely go back and probably stay longer.

Pros: pools, hottub, workout room
Cons: few bugs, cold showers in the morning
Location: great location/broadway at the beach
comfortable beds, nice pool/hottubs, nice kitchen and baths
