“would stay again”

Attending wedding in the area. Entire family stayed here. Had stayed at this hotel once before and remembered it was comfortable. There's enough in the area for dining and shopping. Takes awhile if you're interested in the beach. Hotel does have a pool which is clean. Room service is very accomodating. Continental breakfast is kept supplied.

“It was a place to stay”

The location for me was not ideal, the room although it appeared clean when I walked in wasn't. The area under the bed at the headboard wasn't vacuumed, the floor in the bathroom was sticky anrd the had not been aired in quit some time.

“Not Impressed”

My husband and I were in town for a basketball tournament and needed a room near Myrtle Beach without the expense of a beach front hotel. We chose this hotel for the price. However, this hotel was not in good repair. The carpet was dirty and damaged. The bathroom fan was so loud that we couldn't use it when showering and when the people in the room next to us showered, it sounded as if they were in the same room with us! It was just that loud! There also seemed to be an issue with the toilet flushing. A few times at thought it would overflow but thankfully it never did. I was unsatisfied with the breakfast as the choices were limited and no one seemed concerned with making sure that what they did have remained stocked. On a good note, the people at the front desk and housekeeping were very pleasant and helpful. I would only recommend this hotel to a friend if they were on a strict budget and didn't plan on spending much time in the hotel. If you can afford it, spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

“Economical stay but....”

The coffee and breakfast were not very good and the pool was closed the whole time we were there. Also there was no elevator. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was small but clean.

“Sorry, needs attention.”

The room was a smoking room and smelled like a used ashtray. The wall paper and lighting fixtures were yellow with nicotine. Carpets were worn and fixtures in bathroom were falling off the wall. The public areas were nice and well kept. The breakfast was what you would expect, not outstanding but something hot or cold if you want all pre-made.I have a degree in the hosipitality business and have traveled many places, this place is near the bottom of my list. At least there were no bugs, I hope.
