Very nice, no complaints everybody was pleasant for the most part. For $3000 a week I thought I would get daily towels for the beach but that was not the case. But really, that is my only complaint. Very spacious room with a nice kitchen, washer and dryer. I would definitely return and rent here. But, unless I can get direct flights I may not return.

"Perfect location. Top notch staff."
We were pleasantly surprised to get a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spotless, as were the facilities. We are coming back to visit next year and we will definitely book this hotel for our stay. Well done!

"Nice hotel, staff is okay, costs a little too much"
the staff was not that friendly. Just seemed to be doing their job. The room was nice and clean. They have plenty of cool activities and nice pool areas. The pool was crowded as was the whole hotel. But that is expected in July. I think the price was a little steep. i would expect a place like this to charge $150 a night. After the cleaning fee it was more like $200/night.

"Amazing "
There is nothing bad to say about this place. From the minute we pulled up they treated my family & I like royalty. We booked this hotel the same day we checked in because the hotel we were originally supposed to stay at was disgusting. So to be on the safe side we chose this hotel because it was a name we felt we could trust. They had activities for the kids, they made leis & made cookies in the kitchen with the chef. The beach was beautiful as were the grounds of the hotel. The staff was so friendly and made us feel welcome & constantly made sure we had whatever we needed. This will be our family vacation stop next year & I'm looking to go back in September.

"Great Family Vacation"
My husband, me and 2 eight year old kids stayed in a Kind suit ocean front room. Beautiful view of pools & beach, very clean room and very Spacious. Nice breakfast, might get crowded during busy time but we headed early to breakfast so it was great. Make sure to bring your own towels so u can reserve with them places on the pool early. If u dont, u might not find a place to sit on the pool very nice pools, live music & DJ, nice atmosphere. My kids loved the kids water park & lazy river. We rented beach chairs & umberalla for $35 a day. U get a discount if u rent more than one day. U could bring ur own chairs if u dont want to spend money. Easy access to the beach. 1 min walk from pool to beach. Kids activity center is fun, my daughter got a hair warp there. 20 min drive to Broadway on the beach, a very nice place to hangout at night for the whole family with lots to do. Starbucks in hotel and lots of resturants & fast food around hotel. Only draw backs is late room cleaning, pools get a little dirty when crowded, staff could work on being more friendly to guests. Otherwise great place for family vacay, kids loved it would def go back there just make sure u get oceanfront rooms preferably top floor.

"Great room with beautiful view of the ocean!"
First visit to Myrtle Beach and now we are spoiled. We will probably always stay at Litchfield. We traveled with many other families and they did not stay at Litchfield, but wished they had. Many locals said that it is the premier place to stay if you want beachfront. We wholeheartedly agree! We will visit again! The grounds are immaculate and the facilities are great! The owners of our suite made it so inviting and warm by leaving a photo and a journal for visitors to write in. It was fun to read of others' stories and recommendations of local attractions. The short walk to the beach was fabulous...just over the bridge. My daughter calls it her "happy place." That probably sums it up!

Best and Worst Times to Visit Myrtle Beach

There’s no question about it—summer is the best time to visit Myrtle Beach. The sun is shining and the ocean is inviting. Temperatures usually hover in the high 80s F. However, with this beach weather comes crowds and higher rates. From May to September, the beach becomes packed with swimsuit-clad vacationers. Keep in mind though, hurricane season on the East Coast runs from June through November, which means Myrtle Beach could get hit with some rain or major storms during this time.

If you won’t want to deal with the crowds, and don’t mind cooler temperatures, consider traveling to this beach town in spring or fall. Winter, however, is one of the worst times to visit, especially if you’re expecting to spend the day at the beach. Temperatures drop around the 50s F, and many tourist shops and restaurants close for the season.

    Things to Do

Book your cheap flights to Myrtle Beach right here with Expedia.com, and prepare for buckets of fun in this hot spot. Start by getting your feet wet in the Atlantic Ocean during your next romp in this coastal town. Hop on a jet ski and cruise around the Grand Strand coast, or take surf lessons at Garden City Beach. Reel in a big one on a deep-sea fishing charter, kayak around Murrells Inlet, and join a banana boat excursion. From splashing in the waves to parasailing over the sea, you’re in for endless water adventures.

For those who prefer to stay on dry land, take advantage of the many theater shows that take place in town. Marvel at the Carolina Grand Opry productions and be amazed at the Palace Theatre magic shows. Alabama Theatre will be music to your ears as it features eclectic concerts with all different kinds of genres, while Good Vibrations flaunts a nostalgic performance of oldies, but goodies.
