The Dunes was a bit outdated, elevator was out of order so having to go up to the 3rd floor with our bags and every time we wanted to go out was a bit inconvenient, but we managed. If you require handicap accommodations, call ahead. On our second night of our stay, another guest was given our room and they were able to access our room, even though we were already comfortably asleep in our beds. It gave us quite a fright. The other guest apologized and stated they were given our room. We had to go to the front desk almost close to midnight to have our keys reset to our room and they apologized stating our room showed as “available” in their system. When we ran out of toilet paper, we called the front desk and they said housekeeping would bring some, but they never showed up so we had to physically go to the front desk to grab some. Reminder, elevator still was “out of order”. Pools, water parks and amenities are in neighboring hotels which you have access to, just make sure you have your wrist band on to gain access. Housekeeping does visit the room but only to bring new towels and change out trash, beds were not made nor were dirty towels taken out. Parking lots are free with parking pass which you get upon check in. Lots of dining options and shopping within walking distance. Overall, our stay worked for what we were in town to do, but next time I would opt for a different rooming arrangement.

Odd hotel. Each building separate and in varied stages of care. DO NOT STAY AT THE DUNES! Paper thin walls windows and doors. You hear every car motorcycle and yelling. TV signal didn’t work and one of our nights someone. Yelling and shaking our door at midnight. Poor communication from facility when called shortly after it happened was promised a call back and radio silence. Very chaotic area of Myrtle beach. Not kid friendly! Room not ready until after 5pm and a third attempt to check in. Awful! Will NEVER stay here again!

Our room was wonderful. Clean, spacious and a great ocean view. The pool, lazy river and water slides kept our kids entertained all day. We arrived right at check in and the room wasn’t ready yet, so that was a bummer. Overall, it was a great experience and we would stay there again.

At first, this property seemed great. But then realizing once arriving that there were 4 different buildings under the same hotel. And we had unfortunately, got the worst one. The cleanliness of the bathroom was not there, as there was hair on the floor and in the bathtub. It seemed like it had a quick clean done. But not an effective one. There are also 2 security cameras for the stairs which pointed straight into the window of our room and the elevator was also broken which they weren't accommodating to us to move into any other room. Even though we didn't mind paying extra switch. Definitely would not stay here again.

This property is all over the place. There is 5 buildings some old some new but the building we stayed in was the oldest but our room was great and rentovated. Other buildings amenities were nicer but we really enjoyed the stay. Plenty of places to eat were in walking distance and the waterslides were clean and in mint condition inside.

Room conditions were awful. Accidentally canceled One of my reservations and forced my employee to have to book a room at midnight because they didn't read the reservation right. Had to switch rooms in the middle of our stay and then didn't actually have a room ready for us. We were traveling with a 2-year-old and they suggested we sit in the hotel lobby across the street while he naps. Extremely rude customer service Jennifer, Gail and shivanda should be ashamed of themselves. I can unequivocally say stay anywhere else in Myrtle Beach and you will be happy including a cardboard box.

First of all I believe the carpeting needed to be replaced in the room it had an awful odor to it, was very little water pressure in the bathroom sink, and the microwave did not work properly. We also had to wait till after, well after 4:00 p.m. to get into our room. We will not be returning there.

We had the best stay. The room was nice and clean and quiet. The best part was as we were leaving, packing the car the sweetest African American gentleman packed our car for us. You don’t find sweet gestures like that too often and we are thankful for his kindness. -The Ford Women

Front desk was very accommodating of a last minute change. Rooms are newly remodeled and were spacious. Hotel is super convenient to plenty of good restaurants and bars

Registration was an easy process. The desk clerk was very informative and welcoming. The property is located in a great area, parking was very accessible not too far from the room. The hotel room was cleanly and had an at home feeling. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
