Great amenities! Lacking room aesthetics.

Posted Jun 20, 2015
Room had a view to a fence from the back and when we went out our door there was the stairs coming down. Horrible location. Have stayed at Litchfield Inn before and have stayed in much better locations and room views have been better. Also disappointed that a Expedia fee was added on at the hotel --$7.00 per day -- which caught us off guard.

Easy in and out access-steps away from the beach

Posted Jun 12, 2015
Pros: Best thing is its location right on the beach. It was affordable and just around the corner from nice restaurants.
Cons: Quieter room AC
Location: Great if you have no set amount of things you feel you need to do, just enjoy kayaking, fishing, crabbing and relaxed seaside life, this is the place
Very relaxing it was just what I was looking for. Peaceful serenity. Clean, Quiet, natural beach with no noise.

Nice Hotel, Great Location

This is a nice hotel in a great location. Beach access is easy and it is on an area of the beach that is very family friendly.

Good Hotel in a low - key area

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Beach access is great, staff is friendly, very clean
Cons: Mattresses! This was the only disappointing aspect of our trip. Very uncomfortable...
Pawley's Island is a great substitute for Myrtle Beach! Very low-key and not too many people. Great beach access!

Nice location, very friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom is very small and overall expensive for size of room.

No elevator

Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: beach is great, not crowded
Cons: Add elevator., keep rooms from getting moldy.
The first room they gave had such a bad mold scent that my and my wife's throats were closing up immediately. We asked for another room and were given on on the 3rd floor. My wife and I are in our 60's; there was no elevator and carrying all our luggage up to the room was exhausting. There was very little room to set luggage up and the bathroom had a small vanity which also made finding room for toiletries difficult. There's a coffee maker but good luck finding an outlet to plug it in to. The distance between the bed and furniture did not allow for 2 people to pass easily. Beach access was nice but overall I would not return nor recommend.

Nice hotel, close to the beach with beautiful view

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: As above and parking was available close by.
Cons: Perhaps the bathrooms could be updated.
Location: If you want a beach holiday, this is the place. There are other places to go nearby if you want a bit more life.
Very nice hotel, quietly situated on the gorgeous beach. Beautiful restaurant and cafe, food excellent. Good free breakfast included. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel on the beach.

Nothing extraordinary, but not bad either. Rooms could use some updating, and certainly the beds. Food in the bar area was surprisingly delish. Had a good little vacation.
