“Not Worth A Cheap Price”

This hotel is poorly maintained--for example, the toilet tissue holder was absent, the tub drained oh so very slowly that water was filling the tub before a short shower was finished. The two room suite with kitchen has a window air conditioner in one room and a fan in a vent to the adjacent room. This sets up a choice--either one room must be kept refrigerator cold or on room is at the mercy of a the hot sun. Room service was not completed until 5pm. Deep layers of dust and dirt had accumulated on the vents on the window air conditioning unit causing coughing and sneezing. Neither of the two rooms had a closet.

“Bad, but not as bad as we expected.”

I booked the hotel thinking that we would be at the beach all day and would basically be sleeping at the hotel, which for the most part is true. Then I read all of the reviews and was actually dreading even sleeping there. I came expecting the worst, and didn't get the 'worst' but close enough. I will say there were no bed bugs, but there was mold on the bathroom ceiling and on the wall by the front window, the tub didn't drain, and there was only one TV which was very blurry and the remote didn't work. They do vacuum the pools but the kiddie pool seems unfiltered and dirty. There are about 15 parking spaces and the rest of the parking is across the street. We were on the third floor and the floor of the hotel was dry, so I was surprised of that (other reviews said their floor was wet). We didn't let housekeeping in, we exchanged the towels and sheets when the cart went by and changed everything ourselves. Some of the guests were pretty entertaining, getting into shouting matches and calling each other names in the pool, not the type of people I would want my kids to be around, but for the price, what do you expect?

“Highly disappointed”

The motel was very disappointing and was nothing like the pics or the description when booked. The pics showed a pull out sofa which neither room had and the fan was filthy with dirt; didnt have enough silver ware nor pots and pans, no coffee, no wash cloths and the carpet was dirty and the extra bedroom was extrememly hot! The furniture didnt match at all; it looked like it was yard sale furniture. I was just disappointed because it was extremely misleading in the pics that is being shown.

“Affordable but dirty”

The motel was very affordable but if you want to be comfortable you might want to look at another place to stay. As I stated before the price was great especially being right on the beach. However, the rooms needed to be cleaned better. Housekeeping was very slow to coming around to clean or give clean towels. Getting CLEAN TOWELS seemed to be a big problem for this motel. One day of our trip we didn't even get clean towels. I had to call the office more than once to make sure somebody would come and clean the room and give us cleaned towels. The owner of this place needs to put in alittle money in fixing up this Motel and then I think the owner and guest would be happy. Word of advice if you do decide to stay here make sure you bring your own cleaning supplies to clean the room to your standards and bring TOWELS.....I don't think me or my family will be staying here again.

“Not Impressed”

Pictures on the internet need to be updated. It has hard to get the maids to clean the room everyday. The rooms were somewhat cleaned but could have been a lot cleaner. Bath tub took forever to drain but the shower had good hot water and pressure. The pools were dirty and the kiddy pool was full of sand. Parking was limited at the hotel but they did extra parking across the street. In all we were not impressed with the hotel and will not go back there. Room did not even have a hair dryer and the hotel don't offer wi-fi. Needs to be updated because it was built in 1979 and I don't think any changes have been made since then.

“OK for the price.”

This hotel was ok for the price. The lady at the front desk didn't seem to know what she was doing. It took a good 20 minutes to check in. Checking out went a little faster, but took longer than it should have. The other staff members seemed friendly.

“Don't waste your time or money. This place sucks!”

My review on the Oceanview Front hotel is: 1. The rooms are old and needs a facelift. A little paint and newer bathroom fixures would go a long way. 2. There was no way we could adjust the thermostat. The heat was wide open and could not be adjusted by the customer. 3. I was told when I reserved the room through Expedia that it had two bedrooms and a common area. This was not true. We had two bedrooms and NO common area, but if we all wanted to watch tv together, we all had to hang out in one of the bedrooms. Since I am female, it was uncomfortable when I tried to take a nap and my male friends were required to sit on my bed to watch TV. (Not enough chairs, by the way).

“Not too impressed”

I did not expect a perfect hotel for the price, I knew it wouldn't be fancy but a little paint could go a long way in this place. I had to track down room service on the second day to get towels and the third day I had to track them down to get them to take out my overflowing trash. I went to checkout on my last day and the office was locked up tight at 7 am and a sign that said will open at 8 am. There were very few parking spots in front of the building but it did have a big parking lot across the street so I had to cross the street with my 5 year old every time we left the building.

“The location was Excellent the service not so impressive”

When we walked into the room you could tell that someone had just left. The floors were wet and the beds looked like someone had just pulled the covers back and that was it, it looked really messy. No room service came in to change towels, toilet paper, bed sheets or spreads while we were there and nobody had come to do those things before we checked out. My sister had to go get us fresh towels and even that turned out to be a problem. The front desk was closed until 10:00am and check out was at 11:00am it was awful. The only good thing about it was that the beach was right behind the motel so we walked to it whenever we wanted to.
