Condo needs updatingPosted Jul 1, 2015
We loved the resort, but beds were like a rock, appliances old & rusty, bugs everywhere, door barely locked. Would stay again but definitely in another condo.

Quiet beach stayPosted Jun 27, 2015
Location: We loved Brookgreen Gardens, Pawley's Island beach and the seafood restaurants on Murrells inlet.
We were looking for quiet and solitude in our trip to the beach. Staying here lived up to our expectations because it was close to Pawleys Island and other areas, very secluded and quiet, easy parking and all of the things needed were available in the condo. If someone is looking for a loud beach experience then this is not for them but if solitude is in your plans then you will be pleased.

Almost perfectPosted Jun 23, 2015
Pros: Great villa at a fantastic price
Cons: The beds were just unacceptable
Location: Close to Pawley's Island
Great location, great condo/villa. Everything was wonderful except the beds were like sleeping on concrete. The second night I solved the problem by sleeping on the sofa. We thoroughly enjoyed the screened in balcony, good sized living/dining area and two full baths. We didn't take advantage of the full kitchen and laundry facilities inside the unit but it was nice to know they were available. The staff was pleasant and very helpful. I would still stay again and hope for a better draw on the beds.

Our 3 bedroom villa was nice, BUT.........Posted Jun 15, 2015
Pros: 3 bedroom villa was great for our family of seven. Clean and spacious. Loved it.
Cons: Website details explaining things about where the villa was and how to pick what room or rooms where needed.
Location: Beach, shopping, and grocery store, and restaurants.
The villa was very nice, clean, fit our family with 3 bedrooms But was on the third floor and we had two disabled veterans that had a hard time going up and down stairs. When we checked out the lady at the front desk said that they would accomadate any needs on request. Didn't know that time of reservation. Website was a little misleading, said it was a walk to the beach. On other side of street from ocean. Drove to beach. Looking forward to our next time we can stay at True Blue Resorts.

So Much Better than a Hotel!Posted May 8, 2015
We spent two nights while attending a class reunion. The den and screened in porch were the nicest part of the condo. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the clubhouse. The atmosphere and food were excellent.

Depends on the unitPosted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: price, size of condo
Cons: check-in time window, later check-out, quality of condos
Location: We love Pawleys Island. We go for the beach, though, and our unit was a long drive from the beach
We stayed at a condo at True Blue last year, and loved it. This year was different. We were in 17b, which was all the way at the back, and the condo had not been updated in probably 30 years. The kleenex case held a roll of toilet paper, my "king" bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, the pillows were in awful shape, and the floors and carpeting very old and dingy. The check-in policy is pretty tough and needs loosening up and the 10:00 a.m. check-out time is hard on families, especially when we have to take our own trash to the dumpsters. I would stay there again IF I could request a condo up front and one that is in great condition and the price is much better than Pawley's Plantation, which is far nicer.
