"Awesome!!!"
Trevor and Alex at the front desk were absolutely awesome!! I've never met a better hotel staff! They treated me like family from the time I stepped into the door. Every time I passed an employee I was greeted with a smile and a "how are you?". Hotel was very clean and worth every penny. I look forward to my next stay!

Where to stay in Myrtle Beach

    Myrtle Beach Hotel Guide

Boasting more than 2,800 hours of sunshine each year, Myrtle Beach is a mecca for vacationers in search of clear skies, warm weather, and beach access. This coastal city in South Carolina provides beach lovers and sun worshippers with resorts that offer comfort, luxury, and entertainment all bundled up in one memorable Myrtle Beach vacation.

    Hotels

Some of the best Myrtle Beach hotels feature indoor pools and lazy rivers. Many accommodations also provide adult-only pools for a quiet splash-free zone, and kiddie pools where the kids can swim on sunken ships and dance under mushroom-shaped fountains. When choosing one of the hotels in Myrtle Beach, choose one with views of the Atlantic Ocean or inviting pool decks. Whether you want fancy or family-friendly, there’s the perfect accommodation eagerly awaiting your arrival.

    Transportation

Vacationers often agree that driving is one of best ways to get around Myrtle Beach, so book a car rental in advance. Because many of the shopping outlets and water parks aren’t on the strip, a rental car will get you to all the local hot spots. However, keep in mind that much of the parking, especially on Ocean Boulevard, is permitted or metered. Carry around some spare change and be prepared to feed a meter at any time.

The Coast RTA is the bus system in Myrtle Beach providing convenient transportation for the carless traveler. Coast RTA features one-time fare passes in addition to one- and multi-day passes. Research the fare prices ahead of time and board with exact change. The bus system does not run after certain hours in the evening depending on the season, but numerous Myrtle Beach taxi services will provide travelers with after-hours transportation.

    Travel Basics

Myrtle Beach is a typical family resort, but when marking your calendar for a trip to this seaside spot, do understand it is a hot spring break destination for college kids. If you’re looking for a calm and quiet getaway, make reservations during a different time slot or reserve a hotel in the northern end of the coast for a slightly more relaxed vibe.

As for pets in Myrtle Beach, Fido is welcome on many of the beaches early in the mornings and later in the evenings. There are some restrictions though, as canines are never allowed on the beaches between 21st Avenue North and 13th Avenue South. Man’s best friend is also prohibited from other beaches from 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. between May and Labor Day.

    Weather

Myrtle Beach is known for its abundance of sunny days, but it is a non-tropical beach town, which means the sunbathing and swimming weather is not year round. Myrtle Beach attracts visitors at all times of the year, but March through September is the best time for throwing on your swimsuit and hitting the beach. Peak season is during the summer months, when warm temperatures range between 60 and 80 F.

November through February features some of the coolest temperatures in Myrtle Beach; as they sometimes drop as low as the mid-30s F. Though this weather may not be ideal for lounging on the beach, it’s the best time to find specials and cheap hotel deals in Myrtle Beach. Some restaurants do close during the off-season, but many of the golf courses, shops, and shows remain open year round.

Keep cool with a float down a lazy river or heat it up with a round of golf in Myrtle Beach. Regardless of when you visit, you’re guaranteed oceans of fun in this coastal spot. Book your Myrtle Beach flights and hotel reservations right here with Expedia.com to score the lowest rates around on your travel arrangements.
