Everything about the hotel-the room, the ambience, the surrounding area and staff were great! The Zest retaurant in the hotel is one of the very best! Ravi, my server with a smiling face provided exceptional service to get me Alu Palak and Tandoori roti which is my favorite! The next day I had the buffet which had such a great variety and every dish was so tasty. Kudos to the chef and his team!

Everything you need
We stayed here at the crazy time of Deshera. Great location not far from palace. Room was spacious and comfy. We enjoyed both restaurants and the little cake shop was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Cefan who organized tickets to the procession for us.

Must stay for solo travellers
The service here is amazing, Daniel and Narayan was humble and had provided tremendous service. Daniel helped in suggesting the places to visit around mysuru. Thank you Daniel. This stay is very accessible to all the attractions in and around mysuru, the breakfast buffet was scrumptious. Being a solo traveller accessiblilty to public transport is very important and we can catch a bus or auto or cab from this hotel.

Give this one a try
Really easy check in and out. Upgraded, so that puts a smile on everything and the room was spacious, great bed, bathroom facilities were great, plenty of strong hot water, quiet, and service was great. One minor problem in the restaurant but it was as much my error as the waiter’s - language misinterpretation. Special mention for Mahadevaswamy who was humbly attentive during our restaurant visits. The grounds are ample, the pool and adjacent restaurant are excellent (enjoyed the live guitar) and the fish spa is a must. Excellent value for money.

The room was not clean. There was dust all over when we moved in. The carpet in the room is in bad shape. The shower mixer was not working, so had to shower with very hot water. The towels smelled terrible after being wet. On the bright side, the food and service at the dining were very good.

We visit this Hotel regularly and was good as ever. Specifically, the staff at the two restaurants went out of their way to help us out since we had an elderly person in our group with diet restrictions. Ms.Madhuri at the front desk was also very helpful and proactive in helping us out.

Staff at the reception very poor and arrogant . No assistance given to move the luggage. Breakfast spread ..refill delay . But clean and quite place . We have been staying there regularly last 3-4 years but the service is deteriorating.

Quiet hotel with great location to walk to sites
Great location can walk to palace and market. Hotel pool is great for relaxing. Rooms are large and comfortable. Staff are very helpful. New years gala was excellent.

Building is kept well and location is very good. Bed sheets & pillow covers were used when we first checked in. Had to call housekeeping & get new ones after a long journey. A phone rings loudly in the corridor day & night. Few among the staff understood English well.

Check your bill before you pay it.
Major check in and check out issues. It took about 30 minutes to check in at this hotel, and when we were checking out we were charged an extra $150USD for a buffet dinner and alcohol that was not ours. They refunded us, but only after watching them try to explain why the bill was correct when it wasn’t. Eventually they found that they charged someone else’s room expenses to our account. Additionally, someone else in our group was told their card would be charged upon checkout, only to find that they DID charge the card during the stay - and then tried to charge again upon check out. So, don’t trust the front desk people, they don’t know up from down. The bathrooms are dated and leaky. The shower head shoots water all over the ceiling, and water leaks out of the shower and all over the floor. The food was decent with the highlight being the excellent dining staff who would allow you to order if you missed the buffet window by a few minutes. The dining manager was especially kind and accommodating. The pool is large and the grounds are beautiful.

Beautiful property, service has to be on par with latest standards. For e.g. iron box / stand, hair dryer are provided only on request, while most hotels in that category have them by default.

It is a fantastic place. Rooms were superb and the service was excellent. Kavya at the reception was super and helpful. Other personnel at the hotel who were very good and resourceful were Ravi,Syed,Gundappa and Revanna. Manger at the buffett was very hard working. Over all we very much enjoyed our stay

We took 2 adjoining rooms. Outside view from the room was good. Air conditioning was good. cleanliness, wash room were bad. There was no hot water available in wash basin in one of the rooms. A lizard was in the room troubling the family entire night. Shower was fitted with rain shower, but unfortunately shower was hitting Gypsum ceiling and white water with gypsum would fall on head. So a proper shower enjoyment was denied. In-spite of complaint several time to reception, nobody turned up till we left next day. Hotel has no proper maintenance. It is an insult to Guests as even an effort is not made immediately to see / correct the mistakes.

Decent Hotel near to Station & other places
Decent hotel to stay with your family. centrally located near to station and other sigh seen places. Room was nice and clean with other facilities. Room AC was not so great but still ok. being slightly old property they have maintained well but they should upgrade some area like bathrooms,lifts etc.. Breakfast n other food is good in test and economical. Hotel have good well maintained swimming pool and garden. overall it was good stay but can expect some more improvements specially in room AC.

Warning: Under construction!
The hotel is my go-to when in Mysore, but this year, it was a construction zone, including dust, fumes, only one working elevator, pool and shops closed and lots of noise, We left after one night only. Will try again when it's over because the staff and food are always great.

Very poor service at the counter: 1.Kept interrupting our check in to serve others who showed them something from behind us. 2.When we feedback that the wifi password given to us was not working, we were told over the room phone that we should try again in 5 minutes. After 30 minutes it still did not work. We had to go down to the counter, and looked at them doing it.
