Horrible hotel

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: EVERYTHING!!!!
We made our reservation through expedia in March of 2014 for an overnight stay in July of 2014. However upon check in they did not have our king room, and ourselves another couple were forced to settle for double rooms. On top of that, the staff was rude, and told us that it wasn't their problem and one girl even said she didn't care because it was almost 5 and she had to pick up her kids! The pool was filthy- there were clumps of hair floating in it!! The room itself wasn't cleaned properly- there were remnants of decorations on the wall and ceiling from previous guests. The wifi was not working. And the "continental breakfast"? We could do better at a gas station snack shop!! Completely and utterly disgusted and disappointed with this hotel!! I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

This is a very convenient hotel for the price, the bathrooms were fine but the carpet was very dusty like they berely vacuum the place or they just pick up what's more visible to the eye, the sofa bed was ripped in one side wich I taught it was very unpleasant, I don't think there is a good management in the cleaning, I could not find something cheaper so to me wasn't that bad I brought my own towels just in case so if you want to go there don't walk on bear foot.

Very large and comfortable room

Cons: The only thing I thought was disappointing was the breakfast, which was included in our room charge. It was a very limited selection, and no fruit.
When traveling to Norwich with my sister for a family reunion, we wanted to stay in a hotel close to the highway. The Comfort Suites was convenient and the best price on Expedia. We were pleasantly surprised with the large, spacious room with two double beds, a sofa and desk. There were ample accessible electrical outlets handy for all our phones and tablets to charge.

Disappointed

Pros: Staff was polite
Cons: Where do I start?
Location: Location not close to what we were seeing but within 20 minutes and a manageable ride into Mystic, CT.
The room had a few dead bugs, wall paper falling off, cracked sink... No one had taken care of the pool while the maintenance man was on vacation so when my kids wanted to swim on Friday night and they had to wait until Saturday to swim. Also, we booked the hotel not only for the pool but because they had a sports pub on premises and served breakfast. Their was nothing on-line about the sports pub being closed and breakfast was cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, toast, muffins, and a waffle maker. I have stayed at other Comfort Suites and there was eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sausage. A big disappointment, though the staff (though understaffed I believe) was polite, helpful, and apologetic.

Not worth the stay

Lots of things wrong. Facility was badly damaged. The front desk did not bring extra pillows or blanket we finally had to go get them. Yo check in we waited 30-45 minutes because there was not enough help. Breakfast was not worth it at all.

Cons: staff that follows through with record keeping.
Location: we were not looking for things to do
First our keys did not work, then the air conditioning did not work. The staff did transfer us to another room however after visiting with family and returning to our room it had been given to another group. It appears the staff forget to record the room change.

Asked for a non smoking room and slept in a dirty ashtray! Dirty walls, it was just disgusting! Do not stay here!!

Terrible hotel " under renovations"

Pros: The girl at the front desk was the only positive thing about the hotel other than it being a close drive to the casino.
Cons: Everything! Try starting with having hotel staff.
We had a bad feeling as soon as we approached the hotel as the front entrance was closed. We had to enter through a side door that was left open. There was a sign reading " under renovations." I'm sure this sign has been there for a while as no work was being done. Our first room that we were assigned was completely dirty with beds unmade and towels on the floor in the bathroom. The front desk girl was able to find us a room that was clean, luckily, because others in our party had to clean their own rooms and change their own sheets. Apparently the housekeeping staff all quit. The restaurant was closed. There was only one girl working in the entire hotel! The poor thing should have quit, too, but she was there doing what she could to accommodate us all. She was great and deserves a raise. Hotel management was no where in site. The breakfast in the morning was gross and there was barely anything there. Very dissatisfied!

Experience was nice but the Older man who drove the shuttle was very scary - At one point I feared for my life.
