Nice weekend away at the last minute

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location, easy off the highway close to beaches area attractions and some great eating spots.
Cons: Update
Location: beaches are close by as are the two area casinos mystic village and aquarmiam are just up the street.
Decided at the last minute to head to the shore and take advantage of the nice weekend weather. Great price, staff was very polite, great location and clean room. The room was worn but clean, so I guess the old saying is true, you get what you pay for. Having said that we were only in the room to sleep and that was fine. The room was small and the tv old but it did have lots of channels that I feel asleep to each night. I would return.

Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom was old and outdated. There were loose tiles in the shower and the tub was repainted and the paint was peeling off.
Location: Across the street from Mystic village shopping and the aquarium. Close to Mystic Seaport and the Pequat Indian Museum.
Hotel was clean. The beds were a little hard, I'm used to a tempurpedic mattress. The staff was very friendly.

Not worth the $

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: WIFI automatic
Cons: they provide shampoo but no conditioner and they are stingy with the towels. The breakfast is truly Continental nothing worth eating
I have stayed at many hotels for much less that gave a much nicer breakfast and the ambiance was much fresher and up to date.

this hotel is very nice and comfortable.

Pros: it was right in the center of the mystic fall board walk, plus close to the aquarium.
Cons: it would be lovely if they had rooms with spa in it.
Location: there is so much to do fox wood casino is only 8 miles away plus they have other things you can do.
the hotel was very nice and comfortable especially for the price my husband and i had a very nice and pleasant stay plus the breakfast is free, they didn't have a large selection for breakfast but what they had we enjoyed and was very grateful to the staff of Eco no lodge in mystic ct.

Good for the price you pay.

It's a pretty decent hotel with all your basic needs (wifi, clean bed, nice shower place and sink). Free breakfast was a plus with unlimited apple juice, orange juice, coffee refills.

Room smelt horrific

Posted Mar 31, 2014
Don't know what we expected for the price of this hotel but it was absolutely terribible! The room smelt like a cat litter box, the shower was leaking through the bathroom floor, the sheets smelt like smoke even though it was a "smoke free" room! I could go on and on and when we went to the front desk with all these issues and they wouldn't change our room! I would not stay at this hotel ever again I don't care how cheap it is!
