Fine and a short drive to a lot of attractionsPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Staff, cleanliness, and breakfast.
Cons: No elevator. Not handicapped accessible? No pool.
Location: 15 minutes to the course I was taking at Mystic Seaport.
The price, cleanliness, staff, full breakfast, distance to everything was great for the weekend workshop I was taking at Mystic Seaport. An elevator would have been nice. No pool for kids.

Wanted Hotel near Mystic AquariumPosted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: We like the location, close to the highway and the Mystic Aquarium, close shopping and restaurants, as well.
We had the 2 bedroom suit. Very nice, since my Dad was travelling with us. It was just like an apartment. We loved havig the kitchen, were we had a little lobster party. It was very clean and the kitchen was furnished with everything you can think of! We would definatly stay there again. We were given 4 free breakfast coupons and were allowed to order any entree on the menu. I had an omelete with ham and mushrooms, came with sausage and toast and cranberry juice. Also free refills on coffee and juice. Loved our stay!

When I asked for a room with two beds the front desk upgraded us to alittle apartment size room. They also gave us free breakfast coupons per night. Staff was over the top in friendliness and courteous!

Good place to stay-friendly and clean.Posted Aug 27, 2012
Clean, pleasant place with friendly staff. Older vintage style, but reasonable cost for a good night's stay. Ten minutes from Mohegan Sun. Full breakfast included. Our only problem was bad Google directions. From the south, get off at exit 86 NOT 85, which Google suggested. Exit 85 DOES NOT WORK, unless you want to spend an hour driving around New London and Groton.

Get the 1-Bedroom Apartment if you can!!Posted Mar 1, 2011
Overall the hotel is nice. It is definitely a bit outdated but for the price and considering the proximity between Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods you can't go wrong. It took me 10-15 minutes to get to either casino, plus Mystic Seaport, and the Nauticul Festivities nearby. You have a Walmart across the street and plenty of theme restaurants within a 5 minute drive. I upgraded to a 1-bedroom suite and recommend the same if it is available and if you could afford it.
