Pros: The location to all we wanted to do was excellent.
Cons: Would have liked a pool on site.
Location: It is near Foxwoods, Mystic Seaport and Groton (we wanted to see the submarine museum)
We had a very pleasant stay, staff was friendly and helpful.

Hilltop

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: The price, the state of the rooms, etc.
Location: There was some kind of casino which was the draw for this hotel. We weren't interested.
We stayed at the hotel because there was not other available. The price was three times what we paid for any other hotel. We would have been better off to have stayed in Boston where we would have paid the same price but we would have been in a better location. Without our Onstar we would never have found it. The breakfast was terrible and my kids wouldn't eat it. We ate at every other hotel on our two week journey and they loved it.

Not worth the money

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Proximity to Foxwoods.
Cons: Hair dryers and irons that work. Get rid of the musty/cigar smell in the non-smoking room. Better bed linens and new mattresses. Non-transparent t.p.
Location: Foxwoods Casino.
It was not worth the $300 for a two night stay. Shuttles start at 5pm and run until 10pm during the week, and 2:45 am on the weekends.

Quiet get away

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Although we weren't there to go to the casino many people do. Stonington is a nice little town. Not a lot to do but a nice quiet place. Would recommend Dog Watch restaurant for dinner. And for a great home style breakfast you can't beat Goody's.

Great staff!

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Almost everything.
Cons: The room door was a bit dusty- May be due to the weather.
The experience was very pleasant and the room is large and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and willing to answer all the questions. The Manager gave us lots of information on his own about the activities near the hotel. He volunteered several discount coupons and many other advices. The Manager was very nice and sets a good baseline for his team.

Posted Jul 9, 2014
Pros: Close to Foxwood, clean and great staff
Cons: Update some things in rooms.
It is a nice place to stay. No frills, but clean and staff is very nice. Nice breakfast and very easy to get to Foxwood and back. Would stay again for sure. Price was reasonable also.
