“Ethnic Smell- Stay Away”

The Inn smelt like ethnic food and all my clothes smelt like it upon departure. The drive from Foxwoods did seam longer than 13 miles but the Inn was very close to a main street with all fast food, CVS, movie theater, etc... There was someones hair in the shower upon entering the room and found a bunch of hair on the backside of a pillow. The bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was a dud! The apple juice machine spit out colored water and when i alerted hte front desk he confirmed it was broken but didnt put up a sign! Overall not the best place to stay.

“too much smell of cigarette”

As a non smoker it was important that we find a non smoking place to stay. upon getting to the inn we were very disappointed that it smelled of cigarette.

“Never again!!!”

The hotel was horrible. I'm glad it was only for a night. Very outdated and not nicely decorated. The sink was outside of the bathroom. The hotel had a bad odor. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Not worth the money I paid.

“Don't check in early”

A bit disappointing to arrive for a wedding which was an hour away and be charged $30 for early check in. We gave them an hour to prepare the room but were charged for coming early. Most hotels do not have such a late check in time (3:00 pm)

“Won't use again.”

I would rather pay a few dollars more and stay at a clean motel than this one again.

“Indifferent”

For the money, the hotel itself was not bad. It's very out of the way of the casino's which is what we were there for. But there was plenty around as far as food and stores. The one positive of the longer drive was doing other activities we wouldn't have known about had we stayed closer.

“Overnight Casino Trip”

My wife and I stayed here for an overnight Casino trip. It was the closest reasonably priced hotel. Although a little out of the way, the staff was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The surrounding grounda could have used some maintenance. We would definitely return.

“Disappointed”

The hotel in Groton is not appealing . We booked a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room first. The second room seemed to be non-smoking, but there were signs of smoking from the past.

“Awful”

This hotel was awful to stay at. First, I asked the hotel manager if I could leave my luggage with them instead of leaving it in the car all day and since our room was probably not ready. He refused to hold the luggage and kept saying the room wasn't ready. I tried to explain again, but got the same response. Finally, he gave me the key to the room. When entering the room, I saw that it was already cleaned and the hotel employee lied to us. Before leaving, I turned the A/C on since it was very hot in the room. Upon leaving the hotel, the employee asked that I give the key back. I refused since my luggage was in the room. After arguing for a few minutes he finally let me keep the key. Upon arriving back at the hotel, I noticed that the A/C had been turned off and that someone had entered our room while we were gone. I immediately left the hotel after I realized this.
