The Gallery area houses the Bakery Café, which includes a coffee and wine bar and a 24-hour touch-screen kiosk for ordering freshly prepared hot and cold items; guests pay by swiping either room key or credit card. A self-help case of baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and drinks is also available 24 hours; a complimentary Continental breakfast is served each morning.
Among complimentary amenities at the Hyatt Place Mystic are use of the TV room with its 27-inch flat-panel screen and seating for four, use of a computer with high-speed Internet access and a printer, all in the Gallery area, and hotel-wide wireless Internet access. The hotel also offers a seasonal outdoor pool from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

“Would go back again”
The service was great and very friendly. They had plenty of food for the continental breakfast. They gave you a short tour of where all the facilities that you could use. Yes I would recomend this hotel.
“Pleased with stay”
Great accommodations. Staff was very helpful. Location is great. Next to a lot of attractions and places to eat.
“A few issues”
Overall it was fine, and I would return. There were just a few maintenance issues that should have been attended to: broken toilet seat; digital readout on AC unit was unreadable so it was difficult to figure out how to maintain room temp.; refrigerator was broken, so they had to bring in a new one. Otherwise, it was pleasant enough, and convenient to 95. Also appreciated the free continental breakfast. Staff was friendly.
“Good value”
Spacious rooms. Friendly staff. Nice location.
“Convenience, comfort and cleanliness”
CAn't say more than that.
“Hyatt in Mystic”
The only complaint is that the breakfast area is a zoo in the morning so getting a morning meal there is next to impossible. I'd rather they provided just coffee and lowered their daily rate. I go out with the family for breakfast. I still always stay there when I go by Mystic. Service is always good, hotel is clean and area is close to attractions, restaurants, etc.
“Great place to stay!”
Excellent accommodation. Comfortable, clean and well designed. Lobby is reminiscent of several trendy hotels we stayed at in Europe. Delicious breakfast and free wi-fi.
“Good hotel for a visit to Mystic”
Very nice hotel, the room was very spacious, nice beds, big television. Nice and friendly people in the hotel. The breakfast in de morning was good. The hotel is a nice place to be for a short visit to Mystic. It is near the highway and centrally located. Good parking possibilities.
“Clean, Modern & Reasonable”
The location is close enough to the highway that it's relatively easy to find, but still far enough away that you don't feel like you're on top of it. It is across the road from a cemetery which may be a factor for some, but offers quiet greenery from the hotel's hilltop position. The parking lot is tiered so unless you drop off at the top of the hill, you will have to do some stairs. The hotel is clean & modern with a friendly staff & I loved the express check-in kiosk. The room has a well designed floor plan with a desk & bar area as well as a seating area & bed/bathroom area that share a large flat screen TV. While the bedroom & bathroom are actually small, the open-concept design makes it feel large. They advertised free internet, but when I went online, it said it was only for the first 24 hours. I enjoyed the continental breakfast, but there were no drinks available in the vending machines on the floor (you have to go to the lobby cafe). Also, I wish they had a laundry room. But overall, I enjoyed our stay & visit to quaint Mystic & the nearby casinos.
“Great Mystic Ct. Hotel”
For mine and my wife's birthday we decided to head to Foxwoods Resort for a bit of gambling and fun. Being that it was a last minute decision, the rates were too high to stay at the Casino. I searched online and found the Hyatt Place Mystic. Pictures looked great and the hotel was only about 9 miles (backroads, 15-20 minutes) to the Casino. The hotel offers a limo/bus service to the Casino, but we missed the last shuttle (which I think was at 7pm). The hotel is 30 seconds from the highway exit. We checked in, the parking was free, lobby was clean and the staff were friendly. The room was quite large, with a semi-separate living area. Large flatscreen tv, 2 sinks, comfortable bed. The only drawback was the layout of the shower, which was a pitched floor to a drain, but the water still got out and soaked the whole bathroom floor. Other than that, it was a nice stay. I would stay here again. If you stay in the area for a lunch/dinner, take a 5 minute drive to Mystic and check out S&P Oyster House, FANTASTIC seafood! If seafood isn't your thing, there are quite a few decent looking restaurants in the area.
