“One of the worst hotel ihv stayed in past 2 yrs”

Checked in for 2 nights. The first day was night mare with no HOT water. The front desk kept lying that it will come in 10mins, 15 mins etc when in reality boiler was broken. Room was not cleaned and it was missing coffee packets. Towels were dirty. With power outage in CT I dint hv much choice but will never go back to hotel.

“Barely acceptable”

This is an old property, worn and tired. Clean and well stocked but musty. It is just acceptable. Example: no coffee in the morning, mush less breakfast. But the wireless Internet connection worked, slowly.

“ok if you plan to only sleep”

The TV did not work - seemed to be a problem for all rooms. Bed side table lights were not working. Good price for a place to sleep - room was clean.

“Don't Stay Here!”

The people were nice enough so I didn't throw a fit when they informed me that TV/internet were out upon my arrival. Then I got to the room. There were foreign hairs all over the bathroom and my bed from multiple donors. I was afraid to walk barefoot in the room. I was in town for a wedding and the mother of the bride dropped off a care package at the front desk for me... which they kept! Even after I told them who she spoke to, he came out and I reminded him what she looked like, exactly what the gift bag and tissue paper looked like and what they talked about. Aside from no tv/internet, filthy, stinky, and shady staff (that live at the hotel, btw), I have to say the location was pretty good however the 6 or so hotels within walking distance from this dump also have excellent locations! DON'T BOOK HERE!

“disappointed on this visit”

Last year at this time, we stayed at this hotel and had a great time, but this year was different. The area is still feeling the affects of hurricane Irene, but that was no reason for the diminished service. We stayed four nights, and we never saw room service. I actually "borrowed" some fresh towels from the maid cart. The beds were never made (even when requested), the ceiling was ripped, and we were missining a few bulbs for lights. The best service recieved was from the guy who supplied bulbs! Overall, this was a dissappointment...

“would never stay there again”

the staff was friendly, but the hotel advertised continental breakfast and a pull out bed. They didn't have either. Had to call everyday for the room to be cleaned. The rooms stunk like mildew and the window did not lock. (1st floor). It was old and dirty. Then we had a problem at check out.

“Room itself is great but terrible service”

The room size is very good with plenty of space for stowing items. The frig, coffee pot worked. The service was very poor. The first day the room did not get cleaned-the hotel said it was listed in the computer as unoccupied and dirty. Someone was sent to clean-she was very helpful but did not have enough time to finish the job. Breakfast-food not fresh each day; 2 days no spoons or napkins although we had told the desk. The pool did not seem to be clean and was poorly maintained. The day we left the lights went out; we were told a disgruntled employeed had done it. We stayed here two years ago which is why we came back. We did not realize the hotel had changed management. Security was lax-I found a door proped open with a rock. In the end I did receive a discount from the hotel on the room rate due to all the inconvience.

Mystic Seaport; Mystic Aquarium; Rhode Island beaches. Awesome ribs at Chester's-if you usually have a rack start with half a rack first!

“Very Unhappy!”

The condition of the room was disgusting with bugs included, and the continental breakfast included with the room cost was NOT as advertised with waffles and french toast but in fact was toast your own english mufffin and sliced bread, cereal and store bought doughnuts! So unhappy and wish I did not WASTE my hard earned money!
