“Great inexpensive motel”

I checked in late and found the room key in my room. The room was very clean and very comfortable. The beds were awesome. The in room coffee was excellent. The room appeared to be completely renovated. The kitchenette was very useful. The property is a bit run down, and we didn't get any housekeeping service, but it is right on the Thames River. We even got to see a submarine travel upriver. There are some excellent local restaurants nearby. For the price, I'll stay again.

“Dirty and run-down”

When I called this hotel to tell them I would be checking in late (9:30 p.m.), they told me my room number and they would leave my room unlocked, and the key in the room. When I got there, there was someone else in the room number I had been told. I called the hotel number and they said they gave me the wrong room number and sent me to another building, not shown in the picture on the Expedia website. I am not too picky where I stay, one star hotels are fine with me, but the room was filthy and run-down. I was tired from travelling and thought I could put up with it for one night. If my wife had been with me, we would have sought shelter elsewhere. I will never stay there again.
