“Highs and lows at this Spa and Hotel”

The main hotel was lovely, however we stayed in the villas, a drive away from the main building (a group of us rented a total of four). While it was charming that they had kitchenettes and fireplaces that work, two of them were either dirty or smelled of smoke. In addition, the promised "wine tasting" at the main building which we were looking forward to was a bust as they ran completely out half way through, before we even got there. In addition, the tavern is so small and filled with bath-robed spa-goers, to the point that our group had to go elsewhere for lunch. We did enjoy the spa services. An important note: we chose this hotel because we were going to Mohegan Sun, a mere half mile away, but they offer only shuttles to Foxwoods (a half hour away!) because they are owned by Foxwoods! So we had to pay to take a cab! Ridiculous. Not sure I would go back.
