We appreciate your response. We agree that it would be better to have more than 1 entrance to our property but the City of Lufkin doesn't see it that way. Also, we do offer free coffee for your rooms just not in our lobby or bistro area. We look forward to serving you again in the future.

We are sorry for the condition of your room, however we are renovating 30 rooms at this time hoping to make your next visit a much better one. We apologize for the front desk personnel having problems as she was newly hired and is still learning. Our Bistro business has picked up considerably and therefore we are experiencing times when we are low on certain items. This is not planned and at times we are waiting on deliveries. Due to water intrusion, we were in the process of renovating several rooms about the time of your stay. The room you were in was one of the rooms to be renovated. I can assure you that our hotel is safe and everything should meet your standards. Our pool was out of order during your stay but it was noted on our website and we had notices posted at the hotel as well.

We are sorry for the inconvenience. We are still awaiting for parts for our pool but we are glad that your stay was otherwise a good one. We look forward to seeing you again.

I'm glad we were able to move you to a room that met your needs. I looked into the claim that we overcharged you, but the amount on your folio is correct. Upon researching it, it looks like the difference is in the commission charged by Expedia. We hope you give us another chance to prove we are up to Marriott standards the next time you are in Lufkin.
