Pros: Beautiful, serene setting. A couple of charming, unique amenities. Beautifully appointed lobby (closed sometimes in this season).
A clean and sweet place. I will look this up again when I pass through again. I imagine that a stay in this room would be somewhat more costly in the "on" season, but I have to say that it's been a long time since I liked a place this much, regardless of price. Several types of lodgings -- lodge, cabin, motel. Pool and jazuzzi(s). The only issue is that it's almost impossible to find this place without telephone assistance (readily available). Do not trust your GPS or internet map service without confirmation. Best reached from Rt. 7 and then Rt. 2782 (N side).

Pros: Peaceful yet full of amenities. Beautiful lobby of antiques and Rusty the resident dog.
Location: Country yet only a short 10 miles outside of Historical Nacogdoches, Texas.
It's out in the country(just 10 minutes out of Nacogdoches) and rustic but it has everything you need to spend one night or a week. Very comfortable and the owner/operators are a delight.

It's Terrific!Posted Feb 3, 2012
We were looking for a quiet getaway and this was it. The owners are very special and nice hosts and amicably interacted with us at our pace. My only reluctance is recommending Pine Creek would be that it might become too popular and would no longer be a great getaway for us! We read other comments regarding minor issues like signage not being great - BUT did not find any problems existing today. I believe that all has been taken care of. This is a great place. We couldn't think of anything to complain about.

right place, right timePosted Mar 6, 2011
We needed a place for one night in this vicinity - and this surpassed our expectations with a suite, porch swing; continental breakfast in the in-room refridgerator - nice to walk among the trees and the ponds - there is beauty even in the winter in the midst of the piney woods of east texas.
