“Good -- management seemed not to have total control.”
We had a pleasant stay for the six nights in the hotel. Management had let the internet security system on the Business Center's computer expire. The computer then became a host for dating sites' email transactions, etc. Also the parakeet that was in the hotel foyer made many loud squawking noises -- ear-piercing shrills. Since we had (2) 3-day specials for our 6 nights management did not communicate that info and our room cards did not work some of the time. On the Wyndham Rewards program -- management did not ask about it nor did they update my points.
“good room for price,need more help”
Arrived at 330p and room not ready. Returned at 5p and given room that was still not clean. Beds are comfy and bathrooms clean, AC great. Needed more towels in AM as well as TP but told that we would have to go pick up since no one available to bring it up. Told them that they really didn't want to make my husband mad since he was upset bout rooms not ready night before. They send it up right away.

“Would Stay AGain”
The room was clean, the hotel looked reasonably new and clean. They have a good hot breakfast included in the price of the room and an adequate physical fitness room with eliptical, treatmill, bicycle and multi-function weight machine that was very helpful. The hot tub was broken and there was no heat for the pool. We were disappointed about that. We also had issues one night with an argument out in the hall, and another morning we were awakened w/a barking dog. However, these are not things the hotel management could help. There are several good restaurants close by, it was in good proximity to Stephen F. Austin which was our purpose in being there. There's not much in the way of shopping, but again, that was not our purpose. The parking lot is well lit and there's good access to the interstate. All in all, our experience was positive. We'll stay there again I'm sure.
“Clean Hotel with minor problems!”
Hotel was nice, the free breakfast was far from good. We had to ask them to refill everything and the ladies at the front desk acted like we were a bother when they had to get up and do it. We stayed in a king room with a fold out couch. The fold out couch had no sheets, blankets, or pillows anywhere in the room. My husband went down to get them for the bed, and they wanted to charge us for wanting 2 blankets. That was a first! Also the only other complaint we had was that it was 104 outside, and when we checked in our rooms they did not have the a/c on at all. The rooms were terriable hot, and it took till bed time to start cooling off. I dont understand why they did not turn on the a/c knowing that they had guests arriving! The hotel it's self was clean and well maintained if you can overlook the minor faults it has then it is a great place to stay!
