Stayed two nights. Was able to park our rental car in the hotel’s small lot behind the hotel — 1500 yen per day. The hotel is close to the station and downtown, so it’s easy to walk to a variety of nice restaurants. Coin laundry on the second floor. Would gladly stay at this hotel again.

Not too far from the main station, but seems quite outdated. Had a funny smell to it and toilet was not properly clean after previous guest stay

Best Hotel in Nagano
I had a two-week trip around Japan and this was the most luxurious hotel I stayed in. The room was huge by Japanese standards, great bed, great bath, quiet and a massage chair in my room in which I fell asleep. The hotel is in a convenient location near the train station and walkable to everything in Nagano Shi.

If tourist stay somewhere else.
We booked the hotel as it said it was close to the station. It is not it was a bit difficult to find. I would stay in the Tokyu or Tokyu reiu which are over the road to the station where all the buses go from. Also there are a lot of places to eat around the station. The chisun grand is predominantly a business hotel. The rooms are clean but no safety deposit boxes in room and no drawers to store your clothes. The breakfast times are also geared for businesspeople as starts at 6.30 and ends at 9 prompt. So unless you want to be up at the crack of Dawn book somewhere else. You cannot get a refund of the breakfast cost unless you advise them the day before but they do not let you know this on check in. They provide free tea and coffee at reception. Staff do not understand English very well either so this makes it difficult if you are a non Japanese speaking traveler. There was also some building works going on at the building next door which was a bit noisy in the morning again we were not advised of this prior to our visit

By Japanese standards, my single room was palatial. Lots of space to unpack and a small table with a chair. Having an ice machine on every floor is great, too. The amenity buffet and the free refreshment station in the lobby were much appreciated. This hotel is quite close to the train station, which makes it really convenient. I would stay here again.

Room and bathroom was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. It was also a corner room with a great view of the trains and mountains in the background. Love the coffee machine and tea in the lobby. 10 minute walk to the train station and lots of restaurants. Lovely stay!

The hotel is in a very convenient location. An easy 8-9 minute walk from the train station. We found the back way which made it even quicker. Easy walk to the major tourist attractions. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast consisted of high quality Japanese food as well as a choice of Western style foods. The location on one of the upper floors gave beautiful views of the mountains. The service from the breakfast staff was impressive. We would certainly return to the Chisun.

Near to Nagano station and shopping belt.
Everything was perfect about Chisun Grand. Good location: 5 min away from Nagano station, breakfast and the restaurant's wonderful city views, helpful staff, and not to mention the free amenities/beverage bar at its lobby. I slept very well, and will stay here again.

Nice convenient hotel
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Chisun Grand. It was very clean, comfortable, convenient short walk to the train station. The staff were very helpful and efficient. We would stay here again.

The property is nice. Check in staff were trying however communication was difficult with them just speaking at you until they tried to goggle translate. Clean and well maintained. Breakfast staff were very rude to everybody.

Value for money stay!
We stayed at the Chisun Grand Nagano for 4 nights- triple room share. Although it was a squeeze for three pax, the hotel made up in terms of cleanliness, provision of amenities, and friendly, helpful staff. There is a self service amenities bar at the lobby which we made use of. The hotel also loans items like umbrella, cutlery, iron etc. The room was clean with no funny smell. Location was also great, five minute walk from Nagano station.

Great stay, clean and really spacious rooms. Had washing machines and dryers with a fee located on several floors so it was really convenient as well. Great location near the station and easy to get to on foot even with large luggages.

Excellent sized room. Very comfortable bed. Good size bathroom. Free coffee machine including hot chocolate in lobby with biscuits, lollies. There was a mix of about six different teas. Help yourself whenever. Really great after walking in -3 weather.

Comfortable stay. Requested 2 rooms for the family which the hotel was able to accede to. The hotel provided self-serve drink in the lobby which was very good to have considering the cold weather outside. Breakfast spread and quality was good. Front desk was friendly and efficient. Logano is a nice enough town, this hotel has a great staff, it’s close to the train station. Lots of places to eat. I only spent one night there, but it was very enjoyable.

All amenities provided in rooms, lobby has coffees, teas, sweets and other amenities for free. Japanese breakfast is very good. Everything perfect with reasonable price.

Nagano gem
We went to Nagano for the snow, but there was none. However, we enjoyed our 2 nights-stay at Chisun Grand. The room was quite big for Japan standard. There is a lovely traditional restaurant at the top floor. They serve delicious Japanese buffet breakfast there for only $15 per person, so we went twice! The staff provided excellent service throughout and had no problem conversing in English.
