Many of Chiba’s attractions are located within easy driving distance of Nagareyama, making it a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two sights that should top every visitor’s to-do list is the fabulous Mizumoto Park and the much-loved Chiba Museum of Science and Industry. If time permits, be sure to also visit Sumida Park and the Tokyo Sky Tree.
Nagareyama has a number of cultural attractions within easy reach that make great places to visit. Visit the National Museum of Western Art in Tokyo, to get your fix of art. Enjoy seeing local and touring artists live on stage at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo and the Sumida Triphony Hall.
If you are travelling with kids, give them a chance to let off some steam at the child-friendly attractions nearby. Take the children to a visit to Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, and get a glimpse of some interesting creatures.
When it’s time to take a break from the noisy streets of Chiba, head to one of the many nearby green spaces. If you want to rest a while in a little tranquility head to Rikugi-en Garden in Tokyo.
If you love to shop, shop til you drop amid the many stores that are part of Nakamise Arcade in Tokyo.
Spend an evening with fellow soccer lovers at Saitama Stadium 2002, Saitama, cheering on local favorites, the Urawa Red Diamonds. Be sure to wear red and black, the colors of the Urawa Red Diamonds.
