We had a wonderful stay. It was clean, within walking distance of a lot of things that we wanted to do. Also there is a ton of transportation options nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Convenient location
Great location- close to the Tram line, and major sights like the Oura Cathedral, Glover Garden, and Chinatown. If one is so inclined, it is also possible to walk to Nagasaki Station and points in between like the Dejima, 26 Martyrs monument, Spectacles bridge, etc.

so so place to stay
It was ok i guess. not many food options when i was there its kind of out of the way of mostly everything interesting in Nagasaki. im not getting married so nothing on the first floor was of any interest to me. It seems to be a wedding destination sort of place so its set up to that end.Staff was not very bilingual either but neither am i so made communication rough at times. if i ever go to that city again i know to get a hotel closer to the center of the city at least walking those hills isn't something i want to do again just to go get food

A bit dated
Was expecting a bit more for the price. The room was large but dated. Parking 1200 yen which was more than other places but not many Nagasaki hotels have parking. Checked in late & out early but great service from the concierge staff. Far from the station but close to the older areas & good shopping nearby

Good food, good service, good location
The staff were very gentle and ready to help any time, but I had issues with the cleanliness of the room. Since I have dust and mite allergy I suffered a bit at the room. It means that was not clean enough. But overall the hotel is very good. I highly recommend.

Nice hotel in quiet, convenient spot
Nice hotel in a nice location (short walk to Nagasaki Seaside Park, Glover Garden, Oura Church). The hotel room was clean and decently spacious (for Japan). Parking was free. The hotel staff helped us by tracking down a forgotten item and mailing it to us in Tokyo.

The location was good. Walking distance to Peace Park. We stayed in 6 hotels while travelling through Japan and this was the only one that did not have complimentary bottles of water. We had to reserve 3 rooms for our family.and the price of each room was reasonable. A semi double bed in Japan is a small double.

A reasonable four star hotel in Nagasaki
In Japan in general is it difficult to find four star hotel, and this is one. Location is slightly eccentric with respect to the city centre (10-15 minutes walk), but the place is clean and rooms are not too small. Breakfast is totally overpriced. There is a tram stop (line 5) bringing you to the centre with frequent rides.

Surprisingly spacious room for one with large bed and more pillows than I could possibly have used. Breakfast room very welcoming and overall hotel very close to Glover Gardens and walkable to China Town and Entertainment District. For a Saturday night booking the rate I paid was very reasonable.

Nothing to disappoint - great value
Apart from the initial journey from JR Nagasaki Rail Station - the station information advised us to take a taxi when a tram would have been just as easy and a lot cheaper, everything was as good as expected or better. The hotel restaurant was first class (a shame we were not able to take advantage of the fixed price buffet at weekends - we were there during the week). Staff were knowledgable and helpful, room was clean andbig enough. Sleep wear, toiletries, beverages were plentiful and easily replenished. Tram stop was close and frequent. Attractions wereeither on the tram routes or better still within easy walking distance.

Streetcar line just down the street. Glover Gardens right up the hill. Family Mart around the corner for necessities. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was 3rd rate. It is obviously a fully functional, all-in-one bathroom insert (like a pre-fabricated system of some kind). It had a musty smell and was generally not in keeping with the rest of the hotel's very nice furnishings. Overall, it worked fine and the tub was deep though small. The location was fantastic though and helped make this a place I'd consider staying again.

Great location but hotel needs upgrade.
Great location! Easy to get to sights with Streetcar Day Pass ($5 at hotel desk). Close to Glover Mansion, Oura Church and lots of souvenir shops. Easy to get to Dejima, Dejima Wharf (restaurants) shopping (You Me Plaza), Peace Park and Museum, and train station. Airport bus from Nagasaki Airport in Omura to Nagasaki Train Station was an easy inexpensive 45 minute ride. About a $10 taxi ride to the hotel.

I would stay here again
It is a great location. Within walking distance of the oldest cathedral in Japan and also the Glover Gardens. Taxis are always waiting outside and taxi drivers are familiar with the hotel location. The room was very clean, decent size for Japan and we had a room on the 7th floor which allowed us a great view of the cathedral. Excellent place to stay.

Great location for tourists!
Great Location for tourists! The location of the hotel is it's strong point...near the Glover Mansion. The rooms were large and comfortable. There was no inexpensive buffet breakfast and no convenient restaurants nearby. It is also quite a distance from the airport though fairly close to the Nagasaki train station. Catching the bus to the airport is fairly easy though...much cheaper than taking a cab.
