Central position, excellent value for moneyPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: This hotel is in a convenient position, good value for money with friendly, helpful staff.
Cons: There was a good variety of food for breakfast but the hot food was not always hot!
Location: The location was perfect.literally minutes away from the main station, bus depot, restaurants and shops.
We wanted a place to stay near to all amenities. This hotel was perfect for that. The rooms are small but very comfortable, all essentials were provided.

5 minute walk from Nagoya StationPosted Jan 12, 2014
Pros: reasonably priced, convenient to the Nogoya train station
Cons: carpet in the room was not clean
Location: Nabana no sato, Pokemon Center
My daughter and I stayed 1 nights at the Daiichi Fuju Hotel so we can visit Nabana No Sato. The hotel was reasonably priced and convenient to the Nogoya station. We stayed in a twin room (with 2 twin beds) and it was larger than other twin rooms compared to other Japanese hotels. The carpet seemed dirty and had what looked like a big burned mark on it Hotel staff was friendly though their English was limited. However, I was able to ask them about borrowing their printer to print out a day tour voucher. Overall, the hotel was okay. By the way, Nabana No Sato was great. So glad we decided to take a side trip from Tokyo to visit it. From Nogoya, we took the bullet train to Kyoto and did a day tour there, which was also great. Highly recommend taking these 2 side tours if you are in Tokyo for more than 5 days.

Super Convenient & SimplePosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Check in and Check out was simple and easy. The location is super convenient, about a 5 min walk from the Nagoya JR Station coming out the Taiko-dori side. The hotel is a bit understated from the outside but the interior is quite flash! The room was REALLY spacious considering this is Japan and most things are compact sized. The was a proper sized double bed, the desk was nice and large, and there was even a little side table and arm chair to recline in! The sheets and blankets are super clean, the bathroom is a decent size (again keep in mind that there is smaller). It feels so nice and flash and you'll get comfy real quickly. If you're no good with Japanese then just make sure you pre book everything here, have the hotel locations marked on your cell phone maps/gps and a copy of your reservation printed out and the rest will just happen smoothly! It was such a fantastic place I wish we were staying in the area longer but it was just a stopover really.
