Close to train station and provides shuttle bus

Posted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: It is close to the train station.
Cons: Get rid of the frosted window in the room which makes one feel claustrophobic as you cannot see outside and no idea whether it is raining or cloudy.
Location: There is not much around the hotel but you can eat and do all your shopping in the train station as there are so many nice restaurants there.
Hotel is about ten minutes' walk to Nagoya station and that is great if you have to catch a train. There is also a shuttle bus service which is most helpful especially when it rains and you don't have to drag your luggage to the station then. The hotel is a bit tired but for that price one can't complain. The staff were very helpful despite not speaking much English. There are washing machines and tumble dryers in the basement and they even provide washing detergent saving one from having to go out to get a box of washing powder just to do one or two wash. There are PCs in the lobby for guests to use but you have to pay for the paper if you need any information printed out.

Old and out of date

I was expecting a lot more. The pics and reviews didn't really represent this hotel well. I would call this one a below average, old, businessman's hotel.

Great location, very small room

Hotel was in a great location, very short walk to Nagoya station. The rooms are very small so pack light. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
