“Not Worth the Money”

While I am sure there are much worse hotels in Nairobi, for the price you'll pay you can probably find something better. The hotel room was not cleaned very well (there were stains on the floor, the sheets didn't look clean, etc.), the food at the restaurant was inconsistent in both quality and quantity served. The Internet didn't work for most of my stay, which was really disappointing because I chose that hotel because it offered free internet access. The breakfast included with the rate I paid was meager. They would bring stuff out first thing in the morning, and not replenish items as they were eaten up- meaning if you come down at 8:00 am your only options left are a few pieces of bread and hard boiled eggs. The elevator hasn't finished being built, so if you are on one of the upper floors, be prepared for that. The staff (particularly at the restaurant) did not really care about your experience. The only upside is that the part of town it is in is safer than other parts of Nairobi.
