We were harassed by beggars when walking around the area at night. While the beggars don't do anything but beg, it gets annoying. Property needs updating. Staff is amazing. The staff makes it worth staying at. Also, being right by the Sarit was so convenient.

Rooms needs updating. The bath tub had cracked tiles etc. Buffet breakfast is over priced for customers who do not eat a lot of food for breakfast.

I was the hotel for one night, as I transferred to Nairobi for work. Due to Covid restrictions, most of the hotel was closed/blocked for use, but overall, the room was fine, internet connection good, and had a pleasant stay.

The room wasnt to my expectation. The photo of room/bed shown on Hotels.com is not exactly as it is. The room while it has king size bed, is smaller than expected. Room service only done to close curtains..dirty towels etc are not changed during evening.

The back gate closes at 7pm which is too early. It has security so they can keep it open till late

A lowrise hotel with a nice garden and swimming pool. Excellent gym. While many staff seem super happy to be doing their jobs, but few give the impression that there are enduring something they'd rather not be doing.

Look no further. Oasis in Westlands
Another fantastic stay. Warm welcome once again. Greeting from Daniel like I was a returning family member. Surprise birthday cake for 🎉 13/5. GM Margaret invited me to have a coffee and breakfast and constantly asking for ways to improve and feedback. Fabulous. Safe, secure and well located. Brilliant gardens with huge pool and well equipped gym. Super for business. Everyone knows location added to which parking and security are top notch. Thanks to all the staff for making me so extremely welcome throughout my stay. I'll miss those awesome breakfasts.

Beautiful but needs Extreme TLC
The hotel has a great location and a wonderful staff. It has beautiful gardens and is a jewel in the middle of Nairobi. Close to everything. BUT. The rooms all need drastic renovation. I had an older room and while I lived there for 6 nights and slept, the carpet smelled awful and was visibly dirty, the curtains had not been washed for 12 years at least. Just do not think that the basic hygiene measures are being taken. Could be such a great hotel with a bit of facelift. Such a pity.

The Jacaranda hotel was perfect for our stay in Nairobi which was a combination of work and pleasure. It provided value for money and I would recommend it for anyone needing a hotel within this price range.

Nice close Sari centre
The hotel has a back to Sari Centre but the back closes early. The security is fine. The food is so good. It has in addition a fantastic restaurant outside using the same WiFi with the hotel hence you can just take your laptop and continue working. A well equipped and Spa The rooms are okay, the sheets and towels are sparkling white. A good hotel I must say.

I had a good stay - I always stay here in Nairobi for its proximity to our office. The hotel needs some serious upgrades - this would have been top of the line 20 years ago, but now you can tell its a bit outdated.

Extremely good value in Westlands
Surrounded by hotels that can cost multiple times more per night, the Jacaranda provides most things that you could possibly need, reasonable size swimming pool (20 m), gym, in room tea/coffee facilities, reasonable desk for working, excellent breakfast that should suit almost any taste. Excellent if you have business or reason to be in Westlands and don't want to payout for the top dollar hotels that I just around the corner.

Dated and wouldn’t recommend
Very dated hotel. Said was 24 hr restaurant service but was only room service! Common area was shabby with old sofas etc. Not a pleasant experience. Room was comfortable enough but again old bed, furniture, bathroom. Location is obviously how they keep business going as it is in a safe area and good for work purposes. But hugely overpriced for what you get. Wouldn’t recommend.

No Air conditioner in the room. when window is open lot of noise from the AC of the neighbor hotel and mosquitoes. Very good breakfast.
