“The place to be in Nairobi”

My second time staying at the Stanley. This is a great choice. Centrally located in Nairobi. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good food and a nice second floor bar. Clean, comfortable modern rooms with a good strong shower! Well maintained hotel. Great for the first time or experienced visitor to Kenya's capital.

The best thing about the Stanley is the excellent location, allowing for easy access to the whole city center area with relatively trouble free opportunity to walk in safety. The pool area is a nice retreat, and the good quality included breakfast was a plus. Rooms are a little bit dated, but fine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Thai restaurant was also good.
