Great Location

Posted Sep 5, 2012
Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was reasonable, but bed was not too comfortable. Breakfasts were pleasant, but not as enticing as what is shown on the website, much more basic. Location was fantastic. Widow's walk and charming reading areas were lovely.

Recommended Inn

Pros: The informal, friendly manner of everyone on staff.
Location: Middle of town. Near everything.
Charming hotel, in the middle of town, near bike and running trails but close to restaurants and shopping. Quiet - doesn't seem to attract a rowdy late night crowd, which we appreciated. Breakfast was terrific and the staff is really helpful.

A Wecloming Retreat

Posted Apr 23, 2012
The Inn reflected the essence of the island with a sort of casual comfort of a home but key hotel amenities (e.g. private bath, flat screen TVs, frig, comfy bed, roomy bedroom suite).

Loved It!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1 nite stay, would of definitely love to stay longer. The Swan House was quaint and room was so personal and breakfast was simple. Just the way we like it. Thank you Mary and Hirshina for making our stay enjoyable.

Not impressed

Posted Sep 15, 2010
I selected this hotel based on the reviews. I was quite dissapointed with the room as it was not a four/five star hotel room as stated. Also, there was constant noise from the air conditioning, and the people walking in the room upstairs seemed to be inside our room so there is no insulation to prevent most of the noise but that wasn't a big issue. I expected a lot more for the equivalent price you pay for an expensive last minute roundtrip airplane ticket from the East to West coast per night. The breakfast wasn't great either. The best spot of this place is the roof top that you can access by climbing a ladder to get a beautiful panoramic view.
