Everything was fabulous. The rooms were a bit small and Toppers a bit overpriced for my taste.

Wonderful, wonderful inn.Posted Jun 14, 2014
Pros: They have the most helpful friendly staff, always ready to assist. We especially loved the Jamaican gentleman who are part of the staff.
Cons: Only, because I exercise regularly I would have liked a gym.
Location: The property sits on the water and has the best views.....it's a plus for would be photons. Bikes are available and there is a bike path.
We stayed here for 4 days with our 15 year old grandson. We all fell in love with this place and did no want to leave. Our 15 year old grandson met a German couple from Cologne and had many conversations with them in German.

Pros: The beauty of the location.
Cons: Deck menu and dining room menu never changed.
Location: Perfect for us - access to both the bay and ocean.
The Wauwinet and it's staff exceeded our expectations!

A great hotel for couples in love!Posted May 30, 2013
Pros: Toppers, the people of the hotel, the shuttle bus to town.
Location: Located at the end of the road between the bay and the ocean.
The rooms are bright, beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds. The rooms are made up almost as soon as you leave them for breakfast. There is a complimentary continental breakfast, with a full breakfast available. The hotel is located at the crossroads of the bay and the ocean. There is regular shuttle bus service to town provided by the hotel. There is free pickup and drop off at the Hy-Line Ferry. The one, most important aspect of this great hotel, is it's people. Everyone, and I mean everyone, smiles and wishes you a good morning, afternoon, evening by your last name! I have only experienced this at the Kahala Hotel in Hawaii. Last, but not least, is their 5-star restaurant, Toppers. Just a truly memorable hotel!

We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The service was great. The employees were friendly and engaging. The restaurant was excellent and the bar was nice. The gym consists of 1 elliptical machine, 1 treadmill, and one freeweight, but it is right by the clay tennis court. We had an excellent massage at the spa. The free shuttle service to town is a bonus; plus, they have a beautiful new van. We also received unexpected discount coupons for the restaurant, spa and complementary continental breakfast. We would definately recommend this property.
