HoneymoonPosted Aug 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
I booked the room for my son and daughter-in-law's honeymoon. They loved it. Service was great. The employees were very nice. The room was beautiful. The breakfast was the best. They were very happy with their stay. Thus, so was I!

Nice but noisyPosted Aug 15, 2013
Pros: Nice bed and bathroom
Location: Located centrally and within walking distance to many restaurants, but downtown is dead with very few shops.
Very noisy air conditioner with a fan that kept going on and off. When we couldn't stand it any longer we opened the window, but we were on the street side and it was noisy. In the early am all the trucks were making deliveries and leaving their engines running.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Great location. Staff very friendly. Small hotel with very nice rooms. Only a few blocks to all the to great food and drink locations. Once your done for the day with your wine tours park your car in the garage behind the hotel and enjoy the weather. Only a short walk.

Amazing hotel in every wayPosted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hats off to the designer of this hotel, which is modern with a lots of old wood and charming details. Everything is right in this hotel, from the amazing two person stand alone tub, to the rainforest showerhead, great lighting and bathroom area and PERFECT bed--comfy with great linens AND great pillows. Rooms are a good size, common areas are wonderful, glass of wine upon arrival, juices/water always out in reception, nice bar area....truly an amazing hotel. it is in the newer, quaint area of Napa as well, with lots of new trendy restaurants within walking distance.

We had seen reviews that the rooms could be noisy so when we spoke with the hotel they said we may want to call the day before to ask for a quiet room in the back and that is just what we did. Room was quiet! Really nice hotel but kind of strange that the bdrm/bath area of the suite was so nice and the front part (living area) was very uncomfortable and more like an inexpensive motel. Interesting c/i and c/o process, felt a bit unorganized upon c/o. Had to locate staff with an ipad in lobby and indicate we were checking out. Also we weren't offered or told about juice. CONSISTANCY is the key to success! Staff does try to be accomodating and a NICE property. Price was too high ($500 per room per nite) for what we received.

Excellent Hotel with great servicePosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Atmosphere and the staff are wonderful and helpful.
Location: right in the city center so walking distance to many restaurants and the wine train if you want to take that.
We stayed for two days at this hotel recently and it was a wonderful experience. Rooms were beautiful and large with a small sitting room and separate bath in the room. Nice fire place which can be useful in the evening as it does cool down in the evening. The breakfast was great just if you book the hotel with breakfast you need to let the staff know as they do not ask for it. When we checked out they wanted to charge us and after a friendly dialog with staff the charges were removed. The bar in the hotel is nice and some interesting offerings.

Funky and fun hotel with great servicePosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our first stop on honeymoon was Andaz Napa. The lovely Ben greeted us with a genuine smile and on hearing it was our honeymoon upgraded us and comped us a couple of glasses of champagne. Proper old school hotel service; brilliant. The check in itself was cool and sophisticated, effortlessly done on an iPad with a glass of wine! The room (large loft) was big, cool and funky but really comfortable: not a mix you can usually get. Thoroughly impressed! Very clean with some nice touches. All the staff were really friendly and I'm struggling to find any negatives; the only possible was that the mercantile terrace wasn't open on the two days we stayed but that really is nit picking and didn't affect the enjoyment of our stay. Another bonus is that the Andaz Napa is just so central to everything. Walking distance to the Wine Train (a must do!) and all the shops and bars. If you're visiting Napa look no further than Andaz Napa; it's brilliant in every way. Special thanks to Ben again; really made the start to our honeymoon special and means the rest of the hotels on our honeymoon have a lot to live up to! Thank you Andaz Napa.
