Pros: NOTHING!!!!!
No staff on site...does not offer breakfast on site. Horrible, horrible, horrible.....we stayed elsewhere! Trying to get our money back!!! horrible!!!!

Ghost town

Pros: I don't really like it, and the price for what the room we got was not worth it.
Cons: Have a staff on site, please have some sugar in the room in case your guest want it on their coffee or tea.
Location: no much going on there, a small town, good for passing by, but not enough for us to visit again.
It seems that we were the only guests on the property, there were no one else on site. They were no employees on site either, and they don't tell you that you need to drive to another location to get your room key; and if you are going have breakfast there, you also have to drive to Comfort Inn to have one. If you need anything else, like extra pillow, blanket or anything, in middle of the night, you will need to get dress, and get into your car and drive to another place to ask for it; because I don't see any phone in the room. However, if you just want to have a place to sleep and don't care any services, then I guess this is the place to go.

A cold scary place

Pros: Nothing
No one was there to give us the room keys, no signs or anything. After several phone calls we were told to go the comfort inn to pick up the keys. The room had no hest except for a space heater that had to be wheeled to the bathroom. We slept in our clothes including our coats. The tub had a huge spot down to the cast iron with a very dirty mildewed shower curtain. Practically un useable. Thr next day, still no one, no break fast, only another cold room. No one answered the phone so we returned the keys to the comfort inn. Horrible

Very convenient to town but service lacking

Good stay in a nice old inn but service was lacking, perhaps it was because it was off-season / November when we stayed. The room was cold when we arrived and all services, such as check-in & breakfast, were handled at another hotel 1/3 mile away! The location is very convenient for walking into town for dinner, etc.

Quaint cottage rooms close to downtown Calistoga.

Pros: The cottage was appealing. It was very quiet, but we still were within walking distance to the downtown.
Cons: Windows should be replaced. Too easy to break into rooms. They should at least offer fresh bedding & towels everyday.
Location: The cottage is 2-3 blocks from downtown. Cute little shops. We spent 2 days wine tasting in Napa. Convenient grocery store within walking distance.
Very convenient location. Rooms very small, but worked fine as we were busy all day. Sat on veranda at night, nice sitting area for 'happy hour' wine & cheese under their patio umbrella in the side garden area. Down side was we had to ask for towels and clean glasses for our second night.

Just stayed one night. No on site owners/manager. They only had limited hours when there was staff on site. Had to drive 1/4 mile to another hotel to check in. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. bath was clean. had some problem with the hot water.. But was ok..

No one to check you in. They expect you to walk or drive half a mile away to another hotel in order to check in. Directions for where this other place is, were written on door, but not clear, so I called and when I asked for better directions, they hung up on me. Once I finally got in, everything was fine, but it was an upsetting start.

Much too expensive for what you get; very small room with no amenities; window air conditioner that blew air directly on the bed, making sleeping uncomfortable; breakfast at this bed and breakfast was strictly continental although we were led to believe there was a "chef"; owner that called and sent nice confirming email never appeared on the property; "closet" is in the bathroom; until this property is upgraded, the owners have a lot of nerve charging what they did.

Pros: Very comfortable private and relaxing.
Cons: Nothing at this time
Location: All shopping and dining walking distance.
Walking distance to all shops and dining. Purchased a good wine for evenings on the porch enjoying the evening.

A friend and I recently stayed at Brannan Cottage Inn and had a great experience. Doug (innkeeper) is super accomodating. The breakfast was delicious and the property offered a great garden/patio/porch area to relax. They have an adorable dog on site too!
