“Very nice B&B experience”

I spent a very enjoyable week at the Wine Way Inn and in Calistoga. The Inn is very quaint and the gourmet breakfasts were terrific. I would certainly return for another visit.

“Good value”

The room we had (the Napa room) fronted the highway and was therefore noisy. I will gladly stay at this facility again as long as it is not in that particular room. Breakfast was excellent. The book selection is mediocre. The Wine Way Inn provides an easy stroll to downtown Calistoga restraunt and spa facilities.

“Great inn, a little bit noisy by the road”

Make sure to get the Oakville room if you want to enjoy your own little balcony on the patio (its the only room to have this perk). Bring some earplugs, the main street in front of the inn gets really noisy starting at 4h30 in the morning. We got disturb by this even if we had the furthermost room. Otherwise beautiful little inn, very friendly owner and great breakfast in the morning.

“Pleasant... but not great.”

My husband and I had been here before, about 3 years ago and had a great experience. This year, the actual owners of the B&B were out of town, and they had a very nice couple who were caretakers. That said, the person mostly responsible for the inn - the husband - was a bit spacey, did not show us how to turn the heat on in our room until the room was FREEZING cold in the middle of the night, said "Well, it's cold downstairs where we are, too!" (NOT helpful). Apparently, even though it is at the end of December and bitterly cold outside most nights, they left the heat off and we did not realize this until it was 3 am and we were miserable, because we did not know how to turn up the heat. The breakfasts were a bit scanty compared to how they were 3 years ago. The icebox-cold room aside (it was the Napa room), it was a pleasant - not superb - two nights. I recommend checking to see if the owners are back before booking a room...

“Great B&B in Fantastic Wine Country”

Room was a bit small, but comfortable. Breakfast was GREAT. Nice deck for relaxing and enjoying the local wines.

“NICE HOTEL”

THE STAFF WERE VERY KIND AND POLITE. IT IS AT CLOSE DISTANCE TO THE ROAD, SO IT IS NOISY AND YOU HEAR CARS AND TRUCKS ALL THE TIME. ASK FOR THE ROOM IN THE BACK. FOOD( BREAKFAST) WAS SUPERB. YOU CAN NOT FIND SUCH A GREAT CUISINE.
