Unique ExperiencePosted Nov 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
My fiancée and I stayed here for the weekend to celebrate her 30th birthday. We were looking for a more personal experience than a regular hotel and the Cedar Gables did not disappoint. It was perfectly situated in Napa town, a pleasant 5-10 minute walk to the quaint town centre and 20 minute walk to the Wine Train. The rooms are comfy and individual. Ken and Susie really made us feel at home with amazing food and wine tasting. We'd recommend it to friends and family.

Great time in NapaPosted Nov 11, 2013
Pros: location and hospitality
Cons: Not much could have been better.
Location: It was walking distance from downtown Napa. Great restaurants and shopping were very close.
The Cedar Gables exceeded all our expectations. The Inn Keepers, Ken and Susie were the best. The breakfasts were over the top great. But the best thing about staying at Cedar Gables was the welcoming and guidance we received from Ken and Susie. They made us feel welcome in their Beautiful home. This made our first time visit to a bed and breakfast and Napa a memory we will cherish.

Nice but noisy.Posted Oct 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved the facility, the hosts and the breakfast. Convenient to downtown for walking. Road noise in the morning made it difficult to sleep.

Highly recommend this hotel.Posted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The breakfasts were wonderful, everything was freshly cooked that morning and their homemade donuts were the best I have tasted.
Location: Visit some wineries!
We could not fault Cedar Gables at all. Ken and Susie were the perfect hosts. They were very knowledgable and helpful in recommending places to visit and restaurants to try, which were all fist class.

Fantastic place in NapaPosted Aug 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a fabulous time staying at the Cedar Gables Inn. Susie's breakfasts are EPIC-- some of the best breakfasts we've ever enjoyed. She and Ken do a terrific job of recommending wineries, restaurants, activities. And Cedar Gables is an easy, pleasant walk to downtown Napa and lots of great restaurants and wine-tasting establishments. Highly recommend this place!

Very friendly B&B, well positionedPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: Breakfast, location, helpfulness and friendliness of the proprietors.
Location: Short walk to downtown restaurants and the Napa wine train.
We stayed at Cedar Gables for 2 nights. Ken and Susie, the proprietors, were extremely friendly and welcoming and the whole experience really was more like staying with friends or family than in a hotel. We had booked a smaller room but were upgraded to a suite, which was very nice. Susie's breakfasts were great and Ken hosts drinks for guests from 530pm-7pm. The position of the hotel is excellent - it's about 10-15 minutes walk from the wine train and c5 minutes from the restaurants at the river front. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to another couple looking for a friendly and well located place to stay in Napa.

Excellent Breakfast - Charming housePosted Jul 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We absolutely fell in love with the Cedar Gables Inn. Ken and Susie welcomed us with cookies and made us feel right at home. The house is old and big and beautiful and our room was clean and very nice. The location is a short walk from downtown Napa with its wonderful restaurants (and Susie helped us decide and make reservations). The best feature were the magnificent breakfasts (e.g. french toast souffle) each morning. One of our favorites, looking forward to coming back!
