It's like staying in an old housePosted Feb 11, 2015
It's nice but not modern. Quiet but close to main street.

Nice but datedPosted Feb 8, 2015
Cottage a bit dated. The mattress was not comfortable. We would return again because on the whole, the cottage was tired but comfortable and close to downtown and a lovely garden and side street setting.

Nice, Cozy & ConvenientPosted Feb 8, 2015
Location: Within walking distance from the town's shopping area. Very convenient.
We booked the hotel via Expedia of one room, but was moved to another room when checked in, for reasons unknown. The place is nice and clean, and breakfast was delicious. I just am not too happy that we booked a suite, but was given just a room.

A gem of a placePosted Oct 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was more than I expected. very private, great outdoor sitting area-also private, nice plantings. Overall a great place. I wish we were there longer to enjoy it as it was fully furnished and if you choose you can bring food and cook there and save some money. Can walk to the center of town. Would love to return. Great value!!

Just like home - comfy and wonderfulPosted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The attention to details: Kitchen, washer, dryer, tissues, good makeup lighting, and hair dryer. Close walking to town. Clean and cozy.
Cons: Would have liked an earlier check in and later check out.
Location: Center of town, hot springs, shopping, good coffee shops and restaurants. Close to wineries and Old Faithful (not a big deal), but glad to have seen.
Everything we could possibly need was there for us at this cozy cottage in Calistoga. We only stayed 1 night but would have loved to have stayed longer. This cottage, also a b&b, is situated along a quiet lazy street back in the neighborhoods of Calistoga and close proximity to the cute town where hot springs are available if you want to pamper yourself. This is a nice couples destination too. Close to all of the wineries too. Definitely would recommend this place. I hope to return someday when I can spend more time.

Outstanding B & B experiencePosted Mar 14, 2014 on Hotels.com
The cottage at the Chelsea Garden Inn exceeded our expectation. It was wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was a delight and Judy our hostess made us feel right at home.

Birthday GetawayPosted Jan 31, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was comfortable. The Innkeepers were on vacation so there was an "assistant" who was handling everything. Overall she was helpful with restaurant suggestions and places to visit. As our stay was in January there was no one else at the Inn so it was very quiet. It is located off the main street which is nice as the car traffic was not bad. We would have liked to have had coffee ready at 8 a.m. Instead we walked the short couple of blocks to the local cafe and had it there with a very good breakfast.
