Location: St. Helena is right near by. Very cute town with great little shops, botiques, restaurants and lots of good wineries. A fun place to walk around.
This is a very nice hotel. For half the price of the Meadowood Inn, it's a nice room with a very large bathroom. The linens are very good quality and the pillows are great, (I usually bring my own because I'm very picky about the pillows). The grounds are pretty; may need a little "sprucing up" but overall a very nice hotel. The free breakfast was good; Starbucks coffee, fresh quiche, sausage, fruit, pastries, cereal, all the regular breakfast items, with an outdoor patio and view.

Great Hotel

Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Location, wine tastings and friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Looking forward to the construction to be completed with the restaurant. We were there when the construction and some of the grounds were torn up.
We will definitely go back. The staff was very nice and always welcoming. The room was great, we had one with a fireplace. The location is centered in the Valley and perfect for going between the towns in Napa Valley.

Beautiful Place. Great Room and View.

Posted Mar 6, 2015
Pros: Views, grounds and staff are excellent. We loved our room.
Everything was awesome. The room had a great bed and fireplace and the view of therear vineyardwas spectacular. Staff was excellent and so was the breakfast. Only negative point was some construction going on to add a restaurant/bar. The construction is suspended on evenings and weekends.

Location: Close to several wineries and downtown St. Helena shopping district.
Would definitely stay here again!! The breakfast was fantastic!! Located close to several wineries and downtown St. Helena. Short drive to Sonoma. Wine & cheese reception in the evening was very nice. Surprised that we weren't charged extra for water in the room and breakfast.....everything was included.

A Horrible Valentine's Stay

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hire competent staff and get an on-site manager
Location: Wineries, restaurants, events
I booked a romantic Valentine's getaway in wine country. Unfortunately, Harvest Inn staff are completely incapable of processing room charges or credit cards correctly. Currently, I have thousands in charges pending (climbing on a daily basis) against my credit card for a 2 night stay that I already paid for. I spent my vacation on the phone with them, the credit card company, and re-visiting the inn trying to get this sorted out. So far, I can't get a competent person at the Harvest Inn to deal with this situation. On top of this continuing nightmare, I'd even had to change rooms when I checked in: I'd been given room with the fireplace that smelled like someone lit the fire IN the room NOT the fireplace. I was provided few alternatives and instead of the lovely room with a fireplace and view, the "replacement" room looked out on to a stone wall. It too smelled of smoke, albeit slightly better, but also had an overwhelming cleaning product odor. The cleaning staff start rolling their carts around at 7am, banging around in the adjoining room. And then they kept knocking on the door every half hour throughout the afternoon as we tried to dress for our formal events. At one point some maintenance guy showed up with a ladder and was about to let himself in! I have no idea why and the "Do Not Disturb" sign seems to make NO difference! If you don't need sleep, privacy, OR personal security, this is the place for you! Oh, they do have an "included", yet inedible, breakfast.

One night is not enough

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: Service, staff, amenities and views.
Cons: Property directions to on-site destinations.
Location: St Helena? Really not a challenge to find good for and great wines in any direction.
While the original check-in moment seemed a little cool and detached, as we came back, check in and continued our stay (for a 30th anniversary) we were treated very well and loved the ambience and views from our suite. Even though they were undergoing some construction, it was well worth every penny, and the location is perfect for hitting the wineries we wanted to see in wine country.
