“charming napa BnB”

we stayed in Kira's room- it was large, comfortable, fireplace and whirlpool tub- breakfasts were filling and tasty and Ron and Ethel are a delight. I highly recommend this BnB for anyone staying in wine country- its relaxing yet very close to 29 and silverado trail and downtown restaurants.

“Amazing Experience!!!”

The Stahlecker House was our first time in a B & B, and it was the best experience ever! We stayed here for two nights and loved every minute of it. Our room was lovely, breakfast was great, and the staff was amazing! The location is perfect, its isolated enough to get peace and quiet but close enough to 'downtown' Napa (5 min drive). We're planning our next vacation and we will definitely want to stay here again.

“wondefully relaxing B&B in NAPA”

We stayed in the Nicholas room, it was small like stated in their site, very cozy room, with a great romantic fireplace. Beautifully tranquil backyard, that we were able to enjoy to ourselves on two evenings. The Stahleckers' were knowledgeable and hospitable, they provided a great breakfast with an awesome coffee! Its hard to find good coffee - theirs was top notch. We recommend this B&B, its in a great location and well priced.

“Great hosts, Solid B&B”

Stayed here for a weekend. The couple who runs the place is very helpful with any tips you may need about making your way around Napa Valley. The breakfast is great if you like gourmet sit down style that forces you to talk with strangers (this might be useful to get Napa valley tips from others as well). This B&B is in a very quiet neighborhood if you want to be away from anything commercial. I stayed in Kiras room, which is spacious but could use an upgrade on the whirlpool tub and television. Overall a lovely place to stay but a bit pricey (which I guess is just Napa) but perhaps there are more reasonable priced places.

“Disappointed”

I booked a room at Stahlecker House because I thought it would be nice to stay in a place that was off the beaten path and away from the hot spots in the town of Napa. I was disappointed from the moment I walked in the door. We arrived at 6:00 PM (Check in is at 3:00 PM) and there was an envelope taped to the front door with my name on it and keys and instructions inside. Given how early it was, I was surprised that there wasn't anyone there to greet us. The room (Amy's Room) was a somewhat large and clean, but decor was old and outdated. Lots of lace curtains, lace bed shirts and table cloths, floral wallpaper, pictures of Audrey Hepurn on every wall. Again, the room was clean, but it was musty. The bathroom was very large, however the bathtub was small, not jetted, and the shower head was so low that we had to squat or hunch over to get under it. The shower head wasn't adjustable, I checked many times. I guess the worst part was the water. That evening I brushed my teeth and noticed how terrible it smelled and tasted. It smelled and tasted like rust. Sadly, there wasn't any bottled water in the guest refrigerator, only soda. There's got to be something wrong with the pipes.
