Nice quiet get awayPosted Nov 13, 2013
Pros: The breakfasts were great and it was awesome to start our day out with other guests and hearing about their previous day in the area.
Cons: Jetted tub in Kaitlyn's room does need updating. The jets are weak-we tried to enjoy it one evening and it was just like sitting in a tub.
Location: Location is great to downtown Napa itself. Try the Bounty Hunter for dinner if you can-noisy but fun.
My husband and I spent 4 nights in Napa Valley. We had never stayed at a B&B for an extended length of time but we will definitely consider that as an option in the future based on our experience. The house was cozy and quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac and the back yard was beautiful. We were so busy we didn't get to relax much at the B&B but we certainly enjoyed the feel of coming home in the evenings vs. walking into a hotel. Ron is very knowledgeable about the area and very willing to give you advice. Do try his recommendation of Ristorante Allegria as it was an awesome Italian restaurant and if you can visit them on Mondays they don't charge a corkage fee so take your favorite bottle of wine with you!

Kaitlyn's Room needs AC–Lovely breakfastPosted Aug 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our room had no central air conditioning and our visit was during a hot August night. There was a swamp cooler, but it was locked so we could not turn it down to a comfortable degree. We had no way to request assistance as service was not available in evening and overnight hours. The breakfast was very nice and served in a lovely dining room. The owner shared information about the Napa Valley which was interesting and appreciated.

Our First Anniversary!!Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: I liked the patio area, the dining area and our comfy room. It is very quiet and perfectly peaceful:)
Cons: The only improvement I would make is that we did not have a jacuzzi in our room. I didn't know until later that Brandon's room had only a shower.
Location: We went to 3 key places. We went to Riverfront in down town Napa, Artessa Winery in Napa and Castillo de Amorosa Winery(gotta go to this) in Calistoga
Our stay at the Stahlecker house was lovely. We stayed in Brandon's room. This room had a private entrance, which i love, and it was so peaceful I can hear my heart beat. It's a great B&B to get some serious R&R:)) The staff was very helpful, especially Mr. Stahlecker, who was great with his dinner suggestions. We also received a deals on the side. These is always welcomed. I enjoyed our breakfast with the other guests as well. We got to meet some neat people. I enjoyed sitting outside on the patio swing. It was so wonderful. I can hear the creek bubbling and the birds singing. This is wierd thing to say but if you are going through hard times in your life and need to go to a peaceful place This is the place. We hope to keep Stahlecker House a Anniversary tradition. I liked it that much, by the way, this was our first time together at one. Thank you!!! The Crowls

Very good value for NapaPosted Aug 4, 2013
By Napa standards this is a very good deal. It's located within 5 mins drive of downtown Napa and a short drive from St Helene. Ron is a really nice guy and he will answer any question you may have (and then some). The only setback was that the bed was not as comfy as you would expect and probably due for an upgrade. Other than that, it's a good catch
