Met all our needs. Big thanks!

Pros: Room size and good AC. Also staff.
Cons: Live music could be better.
Location: Easy access to vineyards.
We had 2 pleasant nights at the very nice and extremely well staffed River Terrace. Giant rooms. Great AC in 104° weather. Safe easy parking. Great access to vineyards and towns. Snappy room service though a bit pricey. Good value. Very pleased.

Nice hotel close to downtown Napa. Our room was very large and clean. The king size bed was extremely comfortable and we ordered room service for breakfast that exceeded my expectations. Hotel staff was friendly and checking in and out was painless. Would stay here again.

Pros: Friendliness.
Cons: Do not change a thing.
All the staff were very impressive. The bar tenders and the morning wait staff provided a wonderful experience. They staff knew the area well and provided great direction. They provided great insight to the wine we enjoy and the certain vineyards that carry the selection.

Independence Day Trip

I booked the River Terrace Inn after a last minute decision to drive to Napa for the holiday. It was the cheapest room at $337 per night in Napa. They market this place as a resort. To me a resort has amenities like pool, jacuzzi, restaurant lounge, continental breakfast, concierge service, and feels like a vacation spot. This place has a pool, a small gym, one bar, and a lobby. That's it. We didn't find the value at $350/night at this place.

Nice hotel but not near anything

Posted Jul 4, 2014
If your plan is to wine taste and you want a small town feel spend an extra $20 and stay in Yountville, St Helena, or Calistoga. The actually city of Napa is run down and 15-30min alway from the action. Down town napa (5min drive) is just food with little shopping attractions unless you want to go to walmart. The hotel was just fine and near the river but no river access. Over all quite hotel but not the best location.

Perfect place to stay- was close to the fairgrounds, downtown Napa, freeway access, etc. Clean room and friendly staff. I'll stay there again next time :)
