“Nice, Peaceful, & Friendly”

Everything was perfect at check in. Everyone was very friendly and helpful especially at the concierge desk. Ordered room service and food was delicious. Can't wait to stay there again....wish I was there longer.

Everebody is really nice. The Hotel is beautifull, the wine that they make is outsdanding. Great place to go for a weekend, they also have this great spa, that i enjoyed.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews about service, but we had no problems at all. The resort is VERY nice! The spa and wine tasting room were incredible and the pool/outdoor spa were nice and clean. Very impressed!

“Would love to go back”

Hotel/resort was beautiful, the only problem was that the name was not clearly visible as we drove by, so maybe letting people know that would help. Otherwise, everything was comfortable, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a day of wine tasting. We took some wine to the hot tub (not in glassware) and enjoyed our quiet evening.

“Very impressed”

This is a great place to stay for Wedding anniversary. It was very clean and up to date. everything looked bran new. I highly recommend getting the all inclusive breakfast as it is pricey, however very good. The Views were beautiful. The Meritage was just all around elagent. place to stay. Oh and the customer service was excellent as staff were allways plolite and eager to tend to your needs.

we spent our honeymoon at the hotel - all around very good stay, hotel, spa & wine cellar all lived up to expectations. Room was comfortable & very clean, spa & wine cellar are also worth a visit. Close to Napa & easy drive to wineries.

“Luxurious and relaxing!”

We loved the Italian style ambience, the luxurious bedding, the clean, new surroundings, the welcome bottle of wine, plasma TV, complimentary waters and sodas, and DVDs. The pool and hot tub were great and the view of the vineyards was romantic. Our only concern about the room was that the standard room was small with no view, actually a view of a cement wall and A/C unit. However, when we told the front desk about our disappointment, they upgraded our room at no charge to a Superior room with a poolside view. We also didn't appreciate the pushy sales pitch to participate in a timeshare presentation the minute we walked through the door.

“GREAT PLACE TO STAY”

IF YOU GO AND STAY HERE YOU HAVE TO DO THE SPA. IT IS TO DIE FOR. THE LOCATION IS PERFECT. IF YOU LIKE TO WORK OUT THE WORK OUT ROOM IS NOT MUCH TO TALK ABOUT. IN ALL I WAS VERY IMPRESSED. THEY HAVE A TIME SHARE REPRESENTATIVE ON SITE BUT BY NO MEANS PUSHY.

“Lovely little gem”

We came on a decompression trip, straight from our home in New York City. Having read some of the more negative reviews, we were a little nervous as to what we'd find. But we were very happy during our stay. I think if you are expecting white glove service, you will be disappointed. But if you are looking for a pleasant stay in a lovely hotel - this is the place to go. My boyfriend and I each booked a spa package in their spa, and our masseuses were wonderful. My only complaint about our stay is that on the second night, there was a wedding party, and one of the guests stayed in the room next to us. There was a very loud drunken fight that took place, and hotel management came and addressed it several times. In the middle of the night it started up again, but it was too late for us to consider moving rooms. But that situation is one that may come with any beautiful hotel that is hosting wedding parties. The hotel had a lovely heated pool and a nice little wine trail on the top of a hill.
