Westin Close Convenience

Pros: The staff were so efficient. We had a wobbly TP unit needing some tightening and it was fixed immediately. No worries.
Cons: Self parking instead of valet. Or give us the option. I parked on the street. Would have liked to use the Westin parking area inside. Hopefully next.
Location: Near everything. This is why I love staying here for the 3rd time. Wineries, downtown Napa and all the restuarants. Terrific.
The staff and all the people are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the bed it is so comfortable and relaxing. The surrounding views were great. How can you beat the Napa Valley for the beutiful green lush vines. They were ready to get to crush time. SO exciting.

When we arrived we were the only guests in the lobby. The hotel staff was busy talking amongst themselves and did not acknowledge us. When I finally said excuse me, the girl acted annoyed and bothered. Then we went outside to get our bags and the valet man was rude and argumentative. The manager was called and clearly did not know what to do and kept allowing the valet man to verbally assault us. We asked for a refund and went and got a room at Andaz Napa. Do not stay at the westin. A waste of your mental energy.

Cons: Quick breakfast foods to grab before wine tours!
Location: Oxbow market and Wine train right outside the door!, easy stroll to downtown Napa
Convenient to shops food and Wine Train. Easy to get to if you are driving.

Hotel within walking distance to Napa restaurants. Wine train across the street. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great stay.

Pros: Condition of property, staff. Westin smell obviously... White tea!!!! Bed was comfortable. room lay out nice just in wrong spot.
Cons: Management should be more aware of the elements around the property when placing guests in rooms.
Location: great oxbow Market and close to other restaurants and things to do
Great staff and let us check in early. Stayed here before in a different standard room. Got king suite for my girlfriends birthday to allow us more space to relax. Unfortunately the room although beautiful was on the corner of the first floor looking directly at the wine train station and construction going on next door. Both mornings and especially the second was not only woken up to the sound of delivery trucks, garbage trucks and other service vehicles with their back up signals on it didnt' stop until after 10am and then it just became construction noise. Forced to leave the room both days to not be driven crazy. Informed desk girl on second morning but too late. Not relaxing at all. no one followed up after. Felt like we were put in the "Hope they don't notice or complain" suite.

Not worth the price.

I paid over $500 a night for a 1 bed suite for my family for Father's Day weekend. We were put near the elevator in room 2061 and heard it all night. My 2 boys are young but neither could fall asleep until after midnight. When I asked to switch rooms, I was told I would be given an upgrade and to a quieter room. The room was quieter but was not an upgrade. We were not comped any meals or given a discount. At least we got some sleep that night! The valets are the best service at the hotel, super friendly and helpful. The front desk staff and the waitstaff at the restaurant were not, they charged me $6 to fill a bottle of milk for the baby at night, forgot most of the order and seemed put out to have to work during Father's Day brunch. I travel often for business and pleasure and stay in all ranges of hotels, from budget to luxury. If you can get a room here for around $200, then it would be an ok value. It is NOT luxury accommodations but a nice hotel. If the valet team can teach the rest of the staff in how to treat guests, it would be a great improvement. It is fairly family friendly and the rooms are good for little ones.

We loved everything about this hotel. From the superior Johnny at the front desk, to the location, amazing maid staff, the bedding made you never want to leave the bed and the pool was perfect. Can't wait to go back!

I had a great time staying here. The room was exceptionally clean and the grounds were beautiful. The pool was nice and clean. The gym was spectacular. I would definitely stay again.
