Great location

Great location right nearby oxbow market. Clean facility, nice pool. I would just recommend rather than bocce ball game, there would be a bean bag toss and giant Jenga like Napa River Inn, but We definitely still enjoyed our stay.

Great location in Napa!

Posted Apr 7, 2015
Pros: Location, ambience, outdoor areas.
This was a spur of the moment trip to Napa over the Easter weekend and was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice hotel available with such short notice! It's in a great location: within walking distance of the Napa Valley Wine Train, close to a Catholic Church (St. John the Baptist, which we attended for Easter services...very nice!), minutes from the Oxbow Public Market which is chock full of delicious eats and unusual and tasty items for purchase, close to the downtown area. The hotel itself has great amenities: covered (valet, FREE) parking, heated saltwater pool and spa, very expansive outdoor seating area, wine/appetizers in the late afternoon, knowledgeable and friendly Concierge. We booked a one bedroom suite. The room was comfortable, there was no extraneous noise (which is always a bonus), the bathroom with a sunken tub and rain bar shower was quite luxurious, the kitchen area was well stocked and quite lovely. Would absolutely return to this property in the future!

So convenient and dog friendly!

Posted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: The atmosphere, the service and that is was so accommodating to us, and my dog. Free shuttle, nice bar, and clean room. And I am picky.
Cons: Room was on 2nd floor and far from elevator so not great for having to take dog out at night.
Location: Tons to do nearby, Napa Valley Wine Train right outside entrance, downtown just over bridge and new path to Oxbow Market with tons to eat and drink.
The hotel is within walking distance of the Oxbow Public Market, and the City Winery where we were seeing a concert. The staff was friendly from the moment we arrived, great valet, informative front desk, had a treat for my chihuahua, asked what kind of view we would like. There was a great pool, nice grounds, and places to walk your dog. The room was much larger than expected, had a small kitchen, living area, large bathroom, and dining area. Needed a wine opener and got one delivered in minutes. Concierge suggested a great place for breakfast. Loved that the restaurant guide showed every place we could eat with our dog. We got a free ride in a very nice SUV shuttle over to the concert and also could have called to take it home.

Couples gateway in Napa

Posted Mar 30, 2015 on Hotels
Beautifully newly renovated hotel - a bit commercialized and was hoping for more of a "Napa" rustic experience. This hotel was close to the downtown city area but not in the midst of the wineries. We had to change rooms when we got there since we were put on the construction side. Also we were overcharged on our bill for a restaurant bill that we did not go to- overall it's a nice and clean hotel but not what I would consider an authentic hotel in Napa.

Gorgeous hotel, great location

Posted Mar 29, 2015
Pros: The quality of the room.
The Westin Verasa is in a great location- across from the wine train, down the block from the Oxbow Market, a short walk into the city of Napa and a short drive to wineries. The hotel is elegant and everything is immaculate. The rooms are new and big. Staff is very courteous and always helpful. The cost is also reasonable and consistent with others in the area. This is the third time we've stayed there and will stay there the next time we return to Napa.
