Two thumbs up!Posted Nov 17, 2013
My husband and I had never been to Napa before so after reading a lot of reviews online, we decided on the Westin Verasa. The hotel was kind enough to welcome us with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon which was a nice touch. This location is AMAZING! We were within walking distance from downtown Napa and if we didn't want to drive, because parking can sometimes be an issue, we could take advantage of the shuttle that the hotel provided. We were only a 30 minute drive from Calistoga and Sonomoa and a quick 20 minute drive from our dinner reservations in Yountville. We ate breakfast in the Bank Restaurant downstairs a few times and the food was great. We did notice that the Westin drew an older crowd, but that did not bother us. If you are looking for a younger crowd, you will not find that here, but there are plenty of places close the hotel that you can go hang out. A few things that I did not like were the fact you had to valet your car. They were always quick to grab our vehicle, but we had to pay a daily valet fee and of course you have to throw a tip in there any time you use the service. We did notice that they always got into our room to clean pretty late in the afternoon, around 4pm. We had plans most days so it did not really interfere, but definitely something that is worth knowing. However, when we go back to Napa we will definitely stay at the Westin again so those were not deal breakers.

The *best* location in Napa. Within walking distance to downtown area, including great restaurants. The staff was also some of the most helpful I've ever seen. It all made for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful and romantic hotel.Posted Sep 3, 2013
My husband and I just came back from a trip to California for our one year anniversary. We started in Napa and it definitely did not disappoint. The price at the Westin is more than what we would normally spend but definitely worth every penny. Beautiful hotel. Great staff. The concierge was especially helpful in recommending restaurants in Napa (carpe diem is one you shouldn't miss for amazing tapas) and wineries too. The restaurant at the hotel LaToque was also an amazing culinary experience. The courtyard patio and pool area was a great place to enjoy breakfast in the morning and a drink after dinner. All the extra touches at the hotel and its staff did not go unnoticed. Would recommend and will definitely be going back again.

Short Napa ExperiencePosted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Great facilities. Valet service was too pushy when we arrived, trying to accelerate unloading even though there were no other cars being unloaded at the time.
