Great location, avoid 'family' roomsPosted Jun 26, 2014
Hotel well located. Staff pleasant, as was breakfast service. Family room booked was completely inadequate - four beds squashed into a small corner, twin room with badly maintained furniture and poor ventilation. I'm sure some of the standard double rooms were much better furnished and quite comfortable, however the family room appeared to be the last resort option for guests. Would not recommend a family room to any potential guest. Note access is not ideal if driving into Napoli / car parking is a distance away from hotel.

Traditional hotel in the heart of NaplesPosted Jun 20, 2014
Location: Central, within easy walking distance of the ferries to Capri etcetera and most of Naples' historic and other attractions.
The hotel rooms are opulent and decorated in 19th century Neapolitan style - but also have air conditioning and en suite bathrooms. The beds are very comfortable. The breakfasts are generous; there are also plates of (free) Neapolitan savouries or pastries in reception in the evenings. Many of the staff speak good English, and were unfailingly helpful throughout our week-long stay. The internal (courtyard) rooms are quieter than the rooms fronting onto the street, but there are shutters and noise isn't really a problem. Only one thing annoyed us - the lighting in our room was slightly too dim to read comfortably by at night.

Good Value Close to Centro StoricoPosted Apr 27, 2014
Pros: Location was the best thing: just a short walk to Gambrinus, the Teatro San Carlo and Palazzo Reale. There's plenty of shopping along Via Chiaja.
Cons: As with most Italian hotels in this price range, there was no way effectively to adjust the A/C, but we were fairly comfortable in April.
Location: Via Chiaja is a pedestrian area and there are good trattorias within easy walking distance.
The staff are friendly: when I asked to switch from a room with a shower to one with a tub, it happened pretty quick. The included breakfast was typical, with good cappuccinos.

What a fabulous boutique hotelPosted Nov 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wonderful, is the word to describe this little hidden gem. I believe it is family owned as it came across very cozy, very friendly and everyone at the hotel was absolutely fantastic - from Salvatore the porter who efficiently drove our rented car to park in the nearest car park on day 1 and carry all our bags on our last day, to all the cleaners, receptioninsts and the breakfast waiters. It is a lovely old building with high ceiling and everything was very clean, Location is also brilliant for both shopping and great little restaurants. Napolitans are warm, friendly people in general and the staff in this hotel really represented them.

Just too expensive for what you getPosted Jul 19, 2013
Pros: Nice location.
Cons: The staff was OK but everything else was sub par.
Hotel facilities are simply terrible. You could have said that there is something picturesque about the hotel, if the cost were 40 euros per night.

I really like the location of the hotel!!! I had a great experience staying at this hotel since it is located in the middle of the history area, clean rooms, and nice balconies.

Nice Hotel in NaplesPosted May 31, 2013
This is a very nice hotel, located within a larger building on a great shopping street in Naples. The staff was very helpful in directing us to spots we were interested in seeing in Naples. The room was clean and the hotel very quiet. The breakfast was good as well.

Small, Centrally Located HotelPosted May 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Charming, small hotel on second story of old building. There is an elevator.Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice, small breakfast area with interesting assortment of breads. Every afternoon, an array of pastries set out for snacks. On pedestrian street, which becomes rather noisy at night with Vespas and cars, but quiets down by midnight. Enjoyed staying on street side as fun to watch passersby from balcony, but I am sure there are quieter rooms.Perfect location-very central. Highly recommend!

Very nice hotel in an excellent locationPosted Apr 13, 2013
Pros: Very helpful staff
Cons: Noisy plumbing
Location: Excellent Location
Very nice hotel in an excellent location to get to many of the major sights with ease, the hotel is situated in a pedestrian street & is free from traffic noise & the madness of Naples traffic, every vehicle seemed to have evidence of previous battles. The one down side we had for this hotel was a rather noisy plumbing system where you could hear toilets being flushed & taps being turned on, hence why I have marked down the comfort of the room slightly. I would consider booking this hotel in the future.

Fantastic little hotelPosted Apr 12, 2013
A fantastic hotel- an absolute little gem! This is situated in one of the nicer areas of Naples. Just off a pedestrian street in a courtyard, this hotel is on the first floor. It is a beautiful building, and the rooms were large and airy. We booked a family room and got 2 rooms (twin and double) with an inter-connecting door. Each room had an en suite shower room. The staff were really friendly and helpful. On leaving, they booked a taxi for the station and their porter took us and our bags down to the piazza where the taxi was, and found our taxi driver. Nothing was too much trouble. There is free cake every afternoon- for guests to sample! Breakfast was also good. This is one hotel that I would definitely recommend.
