Classy old luxury hotelPosted Oct 10, 2013
Pros: No one is ever likely to forget the view from the restaurant & bar on the 6th floor. Restaurant George is fabulous. Very important to try to get a r
Cons: oom with a view. Wedding parties love using restaurant & bar, and this at times limits access to hotel patrons.
Location: On a steep hill overlooking while in the city, and things to do require using public transport or taxis. Not much happening near the hotel location.
Fabulous restaurant and bar with killer view of the city of Napoli. A bit removed from the hectic center which makes transportation a bit more challenging, but the view from the Vomerro hill makes it worth this inconvenience. Parker's would benefit from more adjacent commercial development, and this may happen as the world economy recovers. Staff were always attentive, engaged and willing to suggest and arrange as needed.

Nice hotel removed from the center of NaplesPosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Location, staff, room comfort
Cons: Some routine maintenance -- some wall paint was chipping away, etc.
We stayed in Naples one night to catch a flight the next morning and were very impressed by the Grand Hotel Parkers. It was removed from the hectic downtown area which we liked. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. Spacious bathroom.

Grand old hotelPosted Sep 10, 2013
Pros: Excellent staff, especially at the desk. They do speak good English, for those who are concerned. Furniture seemed to be original to the hotel.
Location: Location is not all that great (with the exception of the views). Expect to spend money on cabs unless you really like walking.
The Grand Hotel Parker's in Naples is a fine hotel with excellent staff and nice rooms. I reserved a standard room and received a two room suite with marble bathroom which seems to be typical for this category. The bedroom is large (for Europe) and comfortable. The other room featured a small desk (adequate for a laptop and charger) and a daybed for a second/third person. Breakfast was also included in their rooftop restaurant. Staff was OK during breakfast, food was good (continental buffet), and view was excellent.

Oasis in NaplesPosted Aug 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
Best meal of our 10 day trip to Italy--if you are staying here, it would be crazy not to eat at the incredible rooftop restaurant. Food is even better than the spectacular view.

This hotel is very old fashioned.Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: The Carthusia bath products and slippers in the room were nice.
Cons: This property is very old, and needs a significant upgrade.
Location: This hotel is a long walk to everything and EVERYTHING is closed in Naples on Sunday. DO NOT PLAN TO SHOP ON SUNDAY.
We were disappointed, does not deserve a 5 Star rating. The overall property needs upkeep: mold in the shower, burn marks in the awnings, roaches (there were several) on the front sidewalk. Breakfast was ok, but not great. We tried to have drinks on the outside lounge in the evening and waited forever for a server and decided to leave after waiting a long time.

Old fashioned quality.Posted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: Staff and views
Cons: Slightly out of the way
Location: Chiania, up on the hill
Old fashioned 5*, great staff and service, the building showing its age a little in places, but still in good condition. Breakfast good without being fantastic, but terrance bar/dining room fantastic view over the bay.

I fell in love with Grand Hotel Parkers!Posted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Grand Hotel Parkers was regal, pristine, beautiful, and perfect! I just fell in love this hotel. The staff at the front desk was so welcoming and gracious. Germano, went out of his way to make me comfrotable and welcomed. The views from the restaurant are unsurpassed. Make sure you upgrade for a Sea View Suite! It is worth every Euro.
