Just a room to sleep and nothing else

Pros: Still thinking
Cons: The condition of the equipment, the shuttle can start early, say at 6 am., the restaurant food and service.
Location: There is nothing nearby not even the airport.
We chose this hotel because we wanted to be near the airport to catch an early flight. The hotel's free shuttle does not operate early in AM. It starts at 9.00am. It costs quite a bit of money to get to the airport via private taxi. It takes about 25 minutes without traffic to get to the airport. There are no shops,restaurants around the hotel. It seemed that the hotel was in an industrial area. we felt uncomfortable walking out. The restaurant in the hotel was extremely expensive and the food was terrible. They don't take credit cards only cash. The service was non existent. Our shower was broke and the drain was clogged. The shower head wouldn't stay in its place, so I had to hold it with one hand and wash with the other. Just as the title says its just a room.

Surprising location

Pros: Clean and comfortable rooms.
Cons: More selection for breakfast
Location: Located in an industrial estate. Definitely need a car with tom tom to get around. Good views of mount vesivius
Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Food good, but not as much selection as would expect.

No Airport Shuttle Service...Misleading

Pros: Great pizza next door!
Cons: Pay for my taxi to the airport they advertise airport shuttle or post the hours of shuttle service next to said service.
We stayed here because they advertised they had an airport shuttle. They do but it doesn't start running until 9 a.m. Any flight that leaves before 10:30 a.m. plan on paying for a 25 euro taxi. We found this out at check-in and were given nothing but a "Sorry, you'll have to get a taxi."

Very clean and comfortable

We booked a one-night before our flight out of Naples. Our room was very clean with up-to-date decor. The beds were nice and comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. We ate our dinner in the restaurant. The buffet I think was 28 Euro per person. It was a pretty good with a nice selection of pastas, meats, cheeses, fruits and desserts. It did not include drinks. The staff allowed us to eat breakfast fifteen minutes early so that we could meet our taxi at 7:00 am for our flight. I cannot attest to the surrounding neighborhood, but the proximity to the airport is convenient.

Great airport location.. Super choices re food Very good value ... Patio and World Cup watching Recommend for those ugly early morning flights from Naples Or late arrivals pre check in at far more $$$$ in town spots for the first night..

We read some reviews and were shaky about the place. The parking was terrible and the neighborhood is not somewhere you want to take a walk. On another note the food was ok and the service ok we only stayed one night and the bed killed my back it was really hard and uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay there again. For a holiday inn I expected more quality, but thank goodness they had an ok dinner menu and breakfast. I would of hated to go look for a ace to eat outside Naples.

Would never stay here again!

Chose this hotel because the website raved about the great complimentary shuttle service to the airport. It never mentioned this service is only available during certain hours, so we had to pay for a taxi. Surrounding neighborhood is not good at all. Our shower and free Wi-Fi did not work. Did not sleep well due to other noisy guests, car alarms in nearby car park, and it sounded like all the septic pipes for floors above us ran through our walls. Went to a pizza restaurant (Rist. Regine Napoli) in the courtyard of the Holiday Inn and was ripped off by the cashier. She charged us 73 euros for a pizza and two drinks. Nothing pleasant about this stay. Will never go back to this hotel or Naples, Italy again!

We apologize for the inconvenient occurred with the communication about our free shuttle service but I have to point out that in our website is clearly written : “scheduled complimentary shuttle bus…. Check with the hotel for availability before travelling” . Our shuttle service runs 8 times a day to the city centre and 8 times a day to the airport from 9am until 9.50pm. Obviously we cannot satisfy all requirements and we therefore kindly ask our guests to contact the hotel in advance to know the schedule. I would also like to point out that the Holiday Inn is the only hotel in Naples to offer a free shuttle. I am sorry for all the complaints received, but the Holiday Inn Naples is not responsible for the car alarms in the public car park or for the problems occurred with the restaurant outside the hotel. American style hotel close to airport

We chose this hotel because it is close to the airport and we had a 6:45 AM flight the next day. The hotel is clean and efficient, the staff are courteous and helpful and the restaurant is fine. The downside is that it is not in the area that tourists would like to visit but there is a shuttle into town or you could walk a few blocks and get onto the local commuter train that will take you into town or many places around the region such as Pompeii or Sorrento. As I said this is an "American style" hotel, it is dull and bland compared with the unique, family run Italian hotels we stayed at for the rest of the trip. But if you are OK with that and the fact that the tourist district is not right outside the door, it is a good value.

Close to airport

Pros: The bed quality
Cons: Shuttle service and hotel staff assistance
We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport and had a free shuttle service to and from. Unfortunately, the schedule had a 2 hour wait when we arrived at the airport. After traveling 17 hours, we took a taxi instead of waiting. We needed to take the shuttle back to the airport the next morning to pickup our rental car. Unfortunately, the shuttle was not operating that day because it was a "holiday". Again we needed to hire a taxi. The hotel staff was unfriendly and not helpful. The only thing good was the quality of the bed. We did appreciate that.

The hotel itself is very nice and close to the airport. They have a great shuttle service that takes you to Naples city center and to the train station. The only problem is the surrounding area is a rough neighborhood with not much to do but if you're leaving to the airport early this is a great choice.
