Reasonable hotel in NaplesPosted Dec 6, 2013
Overall the hotel was okay. It was a solid 3 star property. When I checked-in, I was given a room with a single bed because "my reservation was for one person". My reservation was clearly for a room with a double bed and they gave me what I had paid for when I showed them my confirmation. The condition of the room was a little unimpressive, especially in the bathroom. There were some small holes in the walls from a towel rack or something that had been moved. There was also very little space between the toilet an shower (30 cm max from the front of the toilet to the shower door). I had to sit on the toilet at an angle and I'm not a very tall person. The area was not all that great but from my travels in Naples, I didn't see many areas of the city that were all that nice. I would stay there again but wasn't all that impressed.

Central location away from chaos!Posted Nov 18, 2013
Pros: Good location, on a main street, and a very well maintained hotel with friendly staff.
Location: Historic Naples is only 5 mins walk from hotel. Lots of shopping options on via Umberto where hotel is located. Restaurants also within easy reach.
I was keen to avoid hotels too close to Napoli central station, so this one was a good choice -- within 10 mins walk but far enough to be away from chaos surrounding the station! I had two pleasant nights while exploring Historic Naples.

Clean, comfortable hotel but not the greatest areaPosted Nov 14, 2013
Pros: Clean, modern rooms, good breakfast selection, friendly & helpful staff, reasonable price
Cons: no fitness center and could not recommend one that was nearby, water pressure in shower was very weak
Location: Hotel is not in the best area as it's not that close to the main sights and there are few restaurants & bars nearby. The subway is about 5 mins away
Overall, a very good hotel for the price. I just recommend figuring out the public transportation so you can get to better parts of the city.

Short stay in NaplesPosted Nov 3, 2013
Pros: Cleanliness & location.
Cons: When you attempt to speak Italian it would be nice if staff were a bit more patient and tried to help you and replied in Italian.
Location: By the centre of Naples and the true pizza experience!!
Excellent hotel in the centre of Naples which made getting around very easy. The hotel is situated right by the historic and old Naples. Also the central station is within a 15 minute walk so touring out of Naples is within easy reach. The hotel staff were helpful and the rooms were very clean. The Breakfast bar manager treated the children and their requests well and even helped them to speak Italian

Nice hotelPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The decor
Cons: finishing renovations
Location: You can easily walk to the port, cafes and plenty of shops
We only stayed here for a night but we enjoyed the time there. It was close to the water and some wonderful little cafes and stores. The decor is lovely and even though it is on a busy road you didn't hear any noise when you were in the room. Only disappointing thing was we were not able to use the roof top space as it was under construction.

Great Hotel, Shady CItyPosted Aug 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was nice and we never felt unsafe, but Naples is quite simply a dirty, nast city. There is trash everywhere, and you just don't get the feeling you are in savory company. If you have to stay in Naples though, you can't really do much better than this hotel. There didn't seem to be any "nice" areas, as this one was located smack dab in the middle of some pretty nice shopping.

Best hotel in ItalyPosted Jul 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our family of 4 stayed in several hotels in various Italian cities during our recent vacation. This was BY FAR the best hotel we stayed in during our trip. It rivals top hotels in the US - should be a 5-star hotel. It is close enough to walk from the the central train station and also a short walk to catch the boats to Capri, etc. Rooms were very modern and clean. Staff was very courteous and their English was very good. I would definitely stay here again.
