“Comfortable Boutique Hotel in Napoli”

Hotel Piazza Bellini is a very modern, clean hotel in the university area of Naples. It is fairly easy to reach via bus service from the ferry landings and is very convenient to the metro and Naples Centrale train station. The front desk personnel were very courteous, helpful and spoke flawless English. We LOVED the pizzeria they recommended. The surrounding neighborhood is very interesting with bookstores and beautiful old buildings. The hotel is also very close to the National Archeological Museum. As a woman, I did not feel particularly safe going exploring in the neighborhood at night but I don't feel particularly safe doing that in any large city I do not know. Daytime, I felt perfectly safe. Our room was very well maintained, clean and welcoming. The only downside was street noise until about midnight. Again, this hotel is near the university so you have young people out on the street. This is not the hotel's fault and I was still able to get a good night's sleep. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Piazza Bellini again.

This hotel was in a very rundown area.The hotel itself has been upgraded.Air conditioning was nonexistent.Breakfast was cold items only.Tv received only one English speaking channel and that was Bloomberg.we needed a taxi to the port to catch a ferry to Palermo.Hotel promised prefixed rate of 10.5 euros.When we got to the port the taxi driver demanded 15 euros.

“A Gem”

Hotel Piazza Bellini is a gem. The design is stylish and comfortable, the staff is unfailingly courteous and helpful, the breakfasts are sumptuous, and the location highly convenient. Hope to stay there again soon, for even longer. This is a wonderful base for touring Naples and the surrounding region: a great spot to start and conclude every day.

“Clean, comfortable oasis”

We arrived in Naples during the garbage problem (although actually the city is never very clean) and found an exceptionally clean and comfortable hotel. The breakfasts were good. The front desk staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. And the location in the old section of Naples was great for easy access to museums, the best pizza places, and craft shops. Just get to Piazza Bellini and look around. The entrance is marked but not with glaring neon. Inside the old building you will discover a brand new hotel. Highly recommend.

“New, Modern Hotel”

We had researched hotels in Naples and chose this one because it was on the edge of the cultural district. The room was very modern, something that we did not really expect in a historical building. The entrance was gated, something that we appreciated. The continental breakfast was actually in a separate building adjacent to the courtyard, which may have been inconvenient if the weather had been inclement. We were extremely cautious when walking the streets, after reading many suggestions to do so. We did not encounter any problems. There were several restaurants within walking distance where we had some incredible meals.

“Charming, unique hotel in great location”

We loved the unique design and furnishing of this hotel. It is clean and very conveniently located for visiting the Old Town of Naples and the National Archaeological Museum. Breakfast is not bad. And overnight parking (extra charge) is about half a kilometer from the hotel.

“Naples Hotel was a recommendable surprise”

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It's located in the old city and walking distance to the main museums, rated restaurants, and transit. The rooms were newly renovated and airconditioning worked. Wonderful travel library and good internet connection. They could add a silencer gasket on the breakfast room door, but it was a good place to be at a reasonable price. They had contacts with safe parking offsite. It was expensive but worth not being nervous about breakins in Naples.

the staff at piazza bellini was very helpful and friendly. they all spoke good english and appeared willing to go beyond the typical reception duties. i had a very early flight requiring a taxi at 5:30 am. they not only secured the arrival of a taxi on time but made sure the driver would not overcharge me with those sneaky "extra" charges like "it's the night fee". the coffee bar just down the street, fiorella bar, houses a true gem of napoli- vincenzo fiorella! who else sings while they make your cappuccino? makes you feel like family and he always has time for a game of cards.
